That's a nice haul. Most were predicting a 3rd and 1 5th. I don't know the formula but I like it.

The comp picks are tradable this year so that's nice.

Nick Mangold cut by the jets. I'd go after him hard before FA starts.

1. He'd be an upgrade to our injury prone center.

Very thankful...took 2 3rd round picks...got significant value on the field for them for 4 yrs...with a 3rd and 2 5ths, I'd say we got the equivalent of 2 3rds this year. And, I'm mindful of the fact that a former MIA 3rd-rounder was just voted into the HoF :-)

I though Lamar Miller was going to net us a 4th round pick, but it looks like he missed a few games and it probably didn't help that Houston had such poor qb play. It is kind of nice that Rishard Matthews put up decent numbers to net is a 5th round pick.

Leonte Caroo. We also gave up a 5th last year for him. He showed very little last year, hopefully he doesn't end up a bust because we sacrificed 3 mid round picks for him.

I don't follow college ball that much, but I believe giving up three picks for Caroo was stupid. What exactly did he do in college that made Miami do that?

Three draft picks for a guy who played very little last season.
