You seem to be saying that had Tannehill been playing the results would not have been any better, which I would agree with. Both Moore and Tannehill have been overall inconsistent and have both benefited from a strong running game as well as the softest schedule in the league. Even the Texans have won more games against teams with a winning record. (3)
I don't believe either QB is the long term answer for this team. This season has been fun but, is just fools gold glitter.

I agree 100%. Had Tanny been in would things have been different?
I think he would have made it more consistent. That fumble that changed the game was not Moores fault. It was still a game at that point up to that fumble. However Tanny was really building consistency with his recievers this year. How many dropped ints did Moore have against the Bills?
Tanne has made strides this first year in Gase's system. His pocket presence has improved but still needs work. He's been inconsistent as well but has 10x the upside.
I'm glad Moore is on the team. He plays like a backup should, not worried to make mistakes. But he is the backup for a reason.
I'm still not against drafting a QB in the 3rd or 4th round. The pats have done it brady's entire career. It takes time to groom a college qb. If tanne falters and the youngster is an upgrade great. If tanne excels then the youngster becomes trade bait in a few years.
I wanted tanne replaced last year. He's earned a 2nd year in this offense.
He's a backup for a reason.
don't have the stats, but it appears
One thing that's gone down is YAC.I notice Moore does not ever put laundry or Parker to run after a catch. They often have to reach and twist to make a catch. Tannehill was really starting to place the ball where recievers could catch it in stride and make a big play.
Well the explanation of that is due to their different strengths and their different styles of play. Tanny is a better long ball thrower. Like Darryl Lamonica. Moore is more like Greise or better, like Brady...the dink and the dunk. Problem is that our Offensive line does not give enough time to have a Greise.
Bottom line is Tannehill places the ball where recievers can be successful after a catch.They. I noticed this most yesterday when twice he threw to Ajyai, and actually lost yardage because his screen was unthrown.

Wait a minute....So we critisize tannehill and the world is coming to an end by tcpf standards...
But now tcpf gets to call moore names?
What a hypocrite. You have been exposed.
Tell you what...>From now on consider yourself my bytch until we make the playoffs with tannehill next season.
