He just might be coming into his own. Gase allowing him to play "his" type of game was the best thing that could have happened.

The run game, or in yesterdays case, the threat of the run game helps him tremendously. They had 8 guys in the box on every potential running situation. O line gave him time, 8 men in the box .... BAM! we have a passer!

Certainly one of his best games as a Dolphin if not THE best.

Lets consider this:
Tanne was the most sacked player in the league since he begin his career. Some were his fault, some were the fault of Philben, hamstringing his ability to "be himself" in the offense, and most were do to a piss poor O-Line/ run game.

Because of the situation he's been in, can you blame the guy for lacking confidence? Look, the team is now built, and playing in a way to allow Tanne to finally break through, and clearly it's working.

Is he a guy that can put a team on his back when necessary? He was able to do a bit of that in San Diego. Am I totally sold on him as a true franchise QB yet? ..... too soon to tell, but every week, he builds confidence, and gets more comfortable in the offense. I think we have a good chance of Tanne being "The Guy"

You can analyze anything a million different ways.......All I know is Tannehills whole career here I've been saying the guy has unlimited potential thats not been tapped. He has been hit and hit and always gets up. he runs and takes hits , he's set records, 4000 yd seasons.

However the the team fails for 3 reasons. #1 No Oline + sacks and no running game. #2 Defense gives up more then we score #3 Philbin DID NOTHING ABOUT IT. Season after season.

Well we corrected #3 and the rest seems to be falling into place.

I've said it thosand times here and I'll say it again.....Tanny can be GREAT in this league. But he needs a Great Team. This year I'll settle for Good.

Colonel, I "want to see" better than what I saw vs the Chargers.

Chargers' TE Henry catches a TD pass ALL ALONE in the corner of the end zone. Who was "supposed" to be covering him? Maxwell! How the hell can he be left alone?

Sure, Lippett had two INTs, but he also had a lot of plays where he was way off him man on completions. Yes, I know, he is still learning the position, but...

Even if Howard and Culliver get on the field (at some point) it is going to take them awhile to get into the swing of things...will that end up hurting the team?

Our front 3 and 4 played well against SD; stuffing the run and getting after Rivers, but that is the first time this season (the Seattle game maybe, also) that I have seen that. Can they keep it up?

Our OL just wasn't opening the holes for Ajayi. The Chargers have a good defense, but not that good. BTW, I live here in SD, so I see their games every week.

Anyway, the Fins have been playing well, but I still do not trust them. They have folded too many times in the past for me to be comfortable. Let's hope they continue to improve.

Howard and Culliver will ultimately be an improvement, but they will have to be slowly mixed in. 4 INT's is good, but they are less remarkable when they were bad throws; the last 2 were basically desperation passes.

As far as the O-Line play, to be fair, SD stacked the box on EVERY down where running the ball was probable. They had 8 guys in there all day long. They played defense to stop the run and make Tanne beat them.

They will get better every week. It's not like we're Superbowl bound, and the way the AFC West is looking, we would likely have to win out to get a wild card spot, unless someone in the West completely falls apart.

If we won out that would put us at 11-4. We would probably do better than a wild card spot. But I dont see that happening. I think we could lose 1-2 more games and possibly squeak in . dont forget we hold the tie because we beat the Steelers. Patriots lost Growkowski for the season so anything is possible.

I think We need 11-4, MAYBE 10-6 to get in. KC, Denver and Oakland all have 7 wins. The only bright spot there is that they all have 2 or more division games a piece. They will start beating each other up down the stretch.

Almost Friday and no Sam Sam.......he's taking Tannehills awesomeness rather hard no?

Well congrats on the job!! IF we make the playoffs doesnt matter. The last couple of Sundays have been exiting as hell to watch. LONG TIME since my boys and I have celebrated and high fived during Dolphins football. The defense was sick last week, those 5 interceptions.......what good fun! Cant put a price on that my friend!
