A very famous poster on this board was right about tannehill all along.

Chren i dont think the passing game is much different. Its just that the last two weeks the running game has been terrific so the passing game looks a bit better......
Now if we would have someone like rodgers throwing the football the passing game would be different....
Rodgers would had thrown 4 td passes in each of the last two games with a running game like we had.
BTW i would agree yes its abit different rolling out tannehill and he has been able to make some plays with his feet which you have been preaching since the very beginning....Its obvious this is the only way it will work with tannehill.

As soon as the running game falters you will see tannehill struggling yet again....He just doesnt have it.

all good and true points. Gase can adjust and Tanne can run our O if the pieces are there. There is still lots of space for Tanne to elevate his game. Let's go phins.

Have what?
A Team? How is that Tannehills fault?
Marino didn't have a running game either.look what it got him.
GRIESE had Zonk. I want a winning fing team! Not a HOF QB full of records and no goddamm rings!
Are you people getting it yet?it's not about pocket presence or the Fing deep ball. It's about teamwork and winning.
And all I've said since Tanny was drafted is we can win with him.but he needs a TEAM.
Teams will adjust, and they will slow down the running game. To do that however, they will have to pull defenders from pass protection, and add them to the box. This will slow down the pass rush, and open up more opportunities in the passing game. What Tannehill does with those opportunities will make all the difference ... I think it will make him successful.
The threat of a dominant running game is as good as actually getting those yards on the ground.
I think we are going to see more Kenyan drake as well. As teams protect against the run, we will see more success in the screen and rollout plays, and Drake is that guy.
I said in another post, I am cautiously optimistic, too soon for me to be REALLY excited about the past two weeks ... but I like where the team is headed. I like what Gase is doing.
Well, I think that as a matter of logic, of course, the running game helps the passing game as, of course, a good passing game opens up the run.
However, it wasn't just that with that last game.
With that last game there were more rollouts, pull the ball out of the runner's stomach and moving pockets.
That was what I saw that I liked in the last game in addition to Ajayi cutting it up on the run and, to me, those were the plays where Tanny's passing was more successful.
So stat geeks, I've opened my recollection to you so go on the attack.

And after he does that you will want Tannehill to put together 2 400 yd games .Then he's gonna have to jump through another hoop. You are just not seeing the big picture.
Actually he did have a game winning TD pass to Stills last game.
What your not getting is it will never be enough. Unless it's records Marino style it won't be good enough. I want rings, not records. Sam Sam's boy tom brady has just that.
The relationship between team and weak links at numerous positions is what has limited the ability of this team to win.
If you look around the league, many of the "have nots" have so many weaknesses that they have little chance of winning each week. Those weakness may be within the 1st string at several positions and substitutes at those positions may not be equal to the 1st stringer, but likely not nearly as good as the 1st stringer. If that 1st stringer isn't too great to began with the team is in real trouble. Compound that scenario at 2,3 4, 5 positions and you now have a 4-10 team or worse.
We have agonized over the past 10 seasons and had high hopes for Tannehill when he was drafted that perhaps he could be a top 5 QB in the league. To me that's a QB that can not only lead and invigorate his teammates but step up when the game is on the line or perhaps rally the team with his passes. In my opinion, after watching game after game, Tannehill has mediocre skills overall. However, with a solid TEAM around him, built with good, capable players at all positions and quality substitutes at all positions, the Dolphins could very well win 10 or 11 games and have a crack at unseating the Pats in the East.
A running game that becomes worrisome for opponents gives the passing game a chance to succeed. Running should be this teams first offensive priority. Passing comes second. That's the formula, I believe with Tannehill at QB. We can't lean on Tannehill and expect him to be anything but what he is--a decent QB... nothing great.
If we can pound the ball, mix in quick slants and some deep passing routes that are completed with some regularity, Dolphins fans will be much happier after each ball game.
Ajayi had questionable knees to begin with. If they keep leaning on him the way they have he will not last the remainder of the season. Seeing him go down in the last game and grimacing in pain on the ground should be a warning to the coaches. Put together a balanced attack or go back to what does not work.
When the running game outproduces the passing game that is not a balanced attack.
He's completely useless in a COLLAPSING pocket, the jury is still out on what he can do when he has time. I think he'll be okay. With that said, he is very good on the move, they need to keep mixing in play calls that keep him mobile.

So......couldn't deer in headlights refer to anything? Its a statement that means hes confused. hes not. Hes a receiver turned QB and likes to run. Thats it. Dont include Sam Sam in this because all I think about when he speaks is Wet Firecracker over and over. thats an insult. As is "Deer in Headlights."
Fact : I have seen nothing but Potential in the guy from Day 1. All Sam Sam and you do is complain and blame our horrible win records on him.
Now your changing stance , WHICH I"M GLAD FOR!, but your saying you felt a differnt way all along. LOL. Whatever. I guess you guys were against the Dion Jordon Trade too huh? You guys crack me up.
