I'm as shocked as Colonel!

We came in as a 1-4 team and beat a 4-1 team with a balanced attack. Over 250 yards passing to 9 different targets, no INTs and....wait for it....wait for it...NO SACKS!

Over 200 yds running is huge...even if it all came from one RB I'll take it. Especially with no fumbles.

Defense gave up that one big TD then was stingy afterward. I know Ben was playing hurt for about half the game but we were ahead when he got injured and we put up 30 points. Nothing to sneeze at when a short time ago we couldn't stop 3rd string QBs from marching down the field.

So...let's do this again! Ten more times!

Tannehill was letting go off the football quickly. Those are the kind of plays that he needs to run.

I agree. Basically, what this game showed me is that Tannehill needs playmaking defense and good run game to be effective. As much as we'd all like him to be elite, he's not. Hate to use the term, but at best Tannehill can be a game manager if the o line can pass protect & running backs are making positive yards. The question is whether this one game was an aberration or whether it showed that when healthy the team can play competitively. Only time will tell.

I think this is the first game in his career where he does not get sacked once in a game?

Has there been another game without sacks?

The New England game earlier this year, I thought. But somebody might want to double check that.
