Oddly enough, early this offseason, McCoy was arrested for being involved in an incident back in Philadelphia that ended with two off-duty police officers being hospitalized, though no criminal charges ended up being filed.

Just reading between the lines,
If two off-duty police officers were hospitalized and no charges were filed, in all likelihood the two off duty officers were the instigators and got their asses handed to them when nobody was impressed.
There might be another explanation but, not sure what it might be.

And if it is... so what? Most of what our military has done for the past 50+ years has more to do with securing profits for evil oil company executives and corrupt politicians, than it does to do with "protecting our freedom" or whatever rah-rah bullshit they're babbling about. Our own government is more of a threat to our freedom than any foreign force, so that argument carries ZERO weight with me.

1 man (Kap) protesting which is his right whether I disagree w/ him (which I do not) or not is not going to depreciate the institutions of our great democracy including the military.

The constitution which our great military defends .. honors and defends this right to protest. Its more about the constitution than the flag. If I remember included in the oath of enlistment is the oath to defend the constitution of the united states and not the flag.

It is the constitution and its contents that is more important to the military than the flag.

I would never disrespect the flag and do not burn one in front of me and my buddies but it is the right of others to do so.

2 uncles Vietnam combat vet, 2 cousins marine combat vet, good friend marine in Beirut in 83 and so many others I know. When they have a problem then I will have a problem. One buddy who did 3 tours in Vietnam and was going up the Cambodia river in '60 would say f- the students who were protesting. I hated them but you know at the same time they were part of what I was fighting for.

These guys don't need you to defend them. They would tell you that you were not standing next to them when the fighting was going on.
These are the kind of military guys I know.

We both lost about Kap getting injured. Bills won which disappoints me but if they had to beat the crap out of anyone else (maybe even including the Patsies and/or the Jills), particularly in the NFC, I am glad it's San Francisco for standing behind that Ass_ole disrespecting the National Anthem.
