Good for you! I applaud your decision. The level of franchise incompetence and weekly play warrants this reaction.

We are just pitiful!

Wouldn't that be the classic definition of, "Fair Weather Fan"?

From a dolphin decal to a Trump sticker.

From one loser to another.

uh oh is this going to sway political again????

Yea like either candidate is great. It is the lesser of two evils.

I am kind of with you 808. I haven't worn a Dolphins item yet this year or have watched a game. Not even highlights. Although, I am still a football fan, it is hard to get away from. I watched a couple games here and there but nothing like years past.

I realized towards the end of last year that it would ruin my day to watch them and I would be in a pissed off mood all day. It wasn't worth that. I am still a fan and will root for them behind the scenes but I will not let it control my Sundays.

But on a side note I am 2-0 in both my fantasy leagues. Yay me....

For some perhaps, but in my case I'm simply pissed off. And it starts with the owner and works it's way down to some of the players.

Let's just say I prefer to say Merry Christmas instead of Happy Holidays.

I really wish Miami could get a new owner. I think Ross & the previous owner were/are the major problem.

It shouldn't. Political bumper stickers are common. And I'm not going to get in any arguments about the two candidates and neither should anyone else here. I'm pretty sure that JC or Colonel will intervene if that happens.

And congrats on your two fantasy wins! I'm not doing so good this year, I had to auto-draft as I was at a car show.

If Ross could put his friendships aside and hire a GM who's legit he'd
be a better owner than he his.

Ken, I was raised to proudly say the Pledge Of Allegiance to our flag when I went to school. What really motivated me to take action with my Dolphins paraphernalia is my own personal protest against several Dolphins players as I stand in solidarity with those who serve in law enforcement. Personal feelings aside, I will always cheer for this team to win.

Ross is a pretty good owner.
Back when the black-out rule was in effect he would always buy up the remaining tickets so that there wouldn't be a black-out and, then give the tickets away to school groups, service members and their families and, the underprivileged.
Paying for the renovations out of pocket.
He certainly hasn't hesitated at opening his wallet for the team.
Snyder would be a lot worse. The Redskins are a mess.

Thank you Colonel. It goes beyond winning for me though. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure if you were the owner of this team you'd have given a speech similar to the one Jerry Jones gave to his players on 9/11.

I'm sorry bro. (I want you to know I harbor no ill will towards you during these debates) Still love to have a beer with you one day. But I dont get your point? Colin Kaperdick clearly pointed out to police in his protest. His socks had police on them. Yes he's an idiot using the flag to protest them (me) but this clearly has everything to do with Police and these players low opinion of the people that protect them. They are so ignorant of facts and they spew so many untruths and what gets me the most is , THE OWNERS AND THE NFL BACK THEM. Not us the fans. What does that make us? Fing idiots on Sunday if we continue to support them. I dont think Jerry Jones treats his fans, his local law enforcement like that. Robert Kraft either. Stephen Ross is Disgraceful.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Treasure, I can probably say more by saying less. The important thing is not WHO they protest but HOW they protest.

I don't agree with them either about the police but if they hadn't brought the flag into it, I would not be enraged. I would disagree but not be enraged anymore than had they protested prosecutors. I would disagree but that wouldn't enrage me. I'd say, "You have a right to your stupid opinion but I ask you what would happen if criminals were not prosecuted for their crimes and would not prosecuted but would be released immediately after going to jail after being arrested?"

You are enraged about WHO they are protesting. I am enraged about HOW they are protesting.

I'm closing this thread....not because of anything bad that anybody said, but because we've said it already, and it's veering off topic.
