Well, I saw missed opportunities (drop by Stills) and questionable calls (going on 4th down in the 1st quarter), but all-in-all I found that to be an impressive game. I was convinced we'd be completely outmatched, on the road against a Superbowl contender. We held our own. Hats off to Tanny. He showed something today that I've never seem from him. He was in complete control of the offense.

Tannehill gave them a 4-point lead with four minutes remaining. All we need is to stop the Seahawks from driving down the entire field and scoring a touchdown. You're going to blame that on Tannehill?
Tannehill has room for improvement, but he got his team the lead late in the 4th. Can't blame this game on him.

No I'm not blaming that on Tannehill. Seattle has an elite QB that's hard to stop.
Wilson gave Seattle a lead when they needed it.
I'm blaming Tannehill for not matching up well to a hobbled Russell Wilson.

Ok, but what about blaming the DEFENSE for not stopping a hobbled Russell Wilson for driving the entire length of the field to a TD..not just into FG range, but into the end zone.

Well, unfortunately, Tanny doesn't play directly against Wilson. They are not on the field at the same time. Seattle has sure-handed receivers...we have Kenny Stills. Seattle has had tremendous continuity at QB, HC, WR. We have NOT. This loss is not on Tanny.

I've been extremely critical of Tanny over the last 2 years. Just check my posts during the preseason. That said, you didn't see the same game I did. Tanny had no INTs. Tanny rolled out and threw some very good passes...including an excellent long one that should have been a TD. If Stills catches that ball, I'm convinced we win the game.

That's definitely a fair criticism. Our secondary and LBs are still suspect. Our D-Line also didn't play as well when Mario Williams went out. We're not the only team to be victims of a Seattle game-winning drive. They almost won the Superbowl a couple years ago with one! This is a very good team we lost to today...Superbowl contenders. I'm proud of our team overall.

We may not be going places with Tannehill, and he may not be making the pro bowl this year, but he played well enough to win this game.
D played well also, until the end when it counted the most.

That's a tough loss but to blame tannehill for a dropped TD and missed FG is insane. That offense looked better than it has in years and will only get better with more games.
The D played well but Vance Joseph looked a lot like Kevin Coyle on that final drive. Wilson was hobbled. You send the house and make him beat you. Instead he played 10 yards off the ball and let them win the game.
My boy Steen held his own against one of the best defenses in the league. I'd keep pouncey out the first month and if Steen keeps playing well I'd deal pouncey to the highest bidder.
Kenny Stills ought to spend more time on the jugs machine and less preparing his anthem protests.
I was fine with gase going for it early but just run a fast QB sneak
Disappointed on a variety of things watching the game. Kenny Stills drop of the long bomb was almost enough to shut off the game.
Calling that time out was preposterous. Why? Didn't make sense to me.
When we finally went up by 4 I thought now the D will fold and Seattle will pull this game out. My thought was right, and I have to think the Dolphins players thought the same thing and folded their tent, so to speak.
With 31 seconds left...we should have just walked off the field as there was no miracle going to happen. Losing 12-10 to a good team is the only consolation.
Tonight the Patriots play and if they win, they will be atop the AFL East on the first game of the season. Buffalo, Jets and Dolphins lost today allowing it to happen.
Seattle receivers dropped some passes too. Generally it balances out during the course of a game.
Tannehill had 16 completions for 29 attempts, 180 something yards.
The offense scored 10 points. (17 in a perfect world).
The defense did their job. They held Seattle to only 12 points.
At some point the offense needs to step up and win the game.
Way too many three and outs.
Reality is that is 19th 4th quarter game winning drive for Wilson, how many does Tannehill have drafted much higher? Stills dropped on but overthrew others
Still can't throw an accurate deep ball and was behind receivers. The top QB make the pinpoint passes like Wilson did on the TD
Somewhat Chad henne like, still struggles in the red zone
Still some stupid play calling though against Seattle D
Foster looked good

Tannehill had one today. Until the defense snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Once again, defense played very well for most of the tame, but there are 4th quarter game winning drives and 4th quarter game losing drives. Tannehill put the team ahead by 4 points with 4 minutes to go. That should be a game winning drive, when the D only needs to prevent a TD drive going the length of the field to close out the game. But the defense, as well as they played for the first 56 minutes of the game, squandered that lead at the end.
I'm not out to argue that Tannehill is better than Wilson, or that he played perfectly for the entire game, or that he was drafted in the correct position, or that he doesn't need to improve accuracy, release time, etc. I'm just saying he got a four point lead towards the end of the game. Yes, he ran it in instead of throwing a beautiful TD pass, but they both count for six points, so that doesn't make a difference to me.
