Montequi, I didn't miss any point.. Maybe it is you that is missing my point.. Did you think about that? I am not boycotting the team.. I love my Phins... I am just stating my beliefs as a business owner and that personally beliefs do no super cede the collective.. I have no idea what you do for a living, but I imagine everyone you work with doesn't have the same religious, moral or personal beliefs as the next guy.. If everyone took an individual stand and protested their individual ideas it would be a breakdown and not good for your business or workplace environment.. That doesn't mean I think anyone's belief or causes are not just.. Just that it never ends and doesn't support the collective goals the group has as a business or team.. Pretty simple concept I thought.. I guess not... But hey what do I know... I am just some shmuck on a message board.. Maybe I should come up with a way to protest...

Don't we have certain rules even around here to benefit the collective? Don't threads get shut down if they get into certain issues that are detrimental to the collective and not about football.. Aren't we suppose to stay away from political issues, etc? Do you not see the correlation to the point I was making? You have been around here long enough to understand the idea behind that right?

This little gem is making the rounds on FB.

Let me get this straight America.
You terrorize and enslave an entire race for over 300 years,
Ban them from your privileges for the next 100 years,
Fill 2/3 of your prison cells with them through today and,
you're angry when they don't applaud your history.

The NFL is not a non-profit organization. The "collective" you speak of are the rich owners and executives in the NFL. These protests aren't hurting the players in the slightest.

I don't know, it surely didn't help Kenny Still's focus or concentration that is for sure...Hahahaha..... He surely hurt the collective more then the owner with that lack of concentration... Distractions surely don't help focus.. But hey what do I know, other then he probably had the worst game of his career. Maybe being a football player and protester on game day was too much for him.... LOL...

I certainly feel disrespecting the National Anthem is an injustice and bad for business... Isn't that fair? Or am I not allowed to speak out or protest what I feel is an injustice? Or this just a one way street we are on? Let's all find all kinds of stuff to piss people off and further divide people.. Because that is all I see happening from all of this... Nothing beneficial for their cause is happening IMO.. It is merely divisive.. Look at how divided the boards opinions are around here.. And people seem pretty passionate about the issues on both sides..

Once again we have taken an issue relevant to the Dolphins and turned it into a presidential campaign.
