I'd love a win but 10.5 pt underdogs seems about right. I've had the homer knocked out of me the past decade or two. This year, I don't see much better talent than last year. Offensive line should be better when Pouncey returns. Receivers might be better- might be worse depending on Parker's health. I'd rather have Lamar than Ajayi or Foster (given Foster's age and fragility). Secondary & linebacking are still very suspect. Coaching shouldn't be worse given the cluster f** last year but that's damning them with feint praise. I hope they surprise me but I'm definitely not over-expecting this year.

I expect us to get plastered for the first 2 games this year, then eek out a victory in week 3 against the Browns. At that point we'll all start getting optimistic that things are turning around. We'll lose in a tight one to Cincy then fall apart against the Titans. We'll bounce back and beat the Steelers and blow the game against Buffalo. So, that's 2-5 headed into the Bye week.

How about if we go undefeated including playoffs.

You're more optimistic than I am. I think Browns & Titans might be winnable, but can't imagine being even competitive against Steelers or Bengals. I think Steelers in particular could score a boat load of points against our D.

I just always figure that we'll win games we should lose and lose some we should win. It's the "any given day" principle.

I too believe that the Seattle game won't be pretty for us Fins fans. Our defense is suspect up front, at LB and in the secondary. I can see an easy 3-TD deficit. Again, hope I'm wrong and something miraculous occurs, but I'm not holding my breath nor should any Fins fan. eye rolling smiley

Seattle notoriously starts out slow and their offensive line is horrible. They've lived off the mystique of their dominant D from 3 years ago but its not all that anymore.

If the Hawks start slow again I think we go in and steal a road win to open the season.

We get blown out, and Seattle covers the spread.
