Denver cut Ronnie Hillman and Jets cut TE Amaro I wonder if we are interested in any of them.

Stupid Move to cut Dysert. Particularly with Moore hurt. The Prophet in me predicts that he will go on to another team and we will regret it. I still say confused smiley. If Moore was not hurt, then yeah but since he was.

Dysert is destined to be a mediocre backup for his career. His passes aren't accurate.

None of those cuts surprise me. I would not be surprised if a few more cuts are made to improve the roster with other teams free agents.

Need to sign Kevin Hogan and trade Moore. Moore hasn't looked good in years for what he is paid

Many teams only carry 2 QBs on their active rosters. I expect we'll sign Dysert to our practice squad as soon as he clears wavers (which he should).

I think Moore is still better then he's been showing . We haven't had a clear cut starting QB since Fielder. And even he didnt stay healthy . Mat Moore gets 0% of starting reps with Tannehill because he's a stud athletically. So when we see Mat he comes off the bench and hands the clip board to a coach and needs to get a rhythm going. This last time he plays like 2-3 snaps before getting smoked by a dirty hit to the head.

Hes no starter but give him a few downs and he still has what it takes to lead a good team if the unthinkable happens . Losing Dysert sucks but keeping Doughty over him was the right move. Dysert has a ceiling and might be slightly better now.....Doughtry is just starting and has greater potential under a great QBs coach like Gase. Cant keep them all. Its actually a good problem to have.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

160 sacks in three seasons got up from every one. Went home and Made Ms Tannehill a Momma. Never complained once. I love the Kid. thumbs up

Look at the Vikings and The Cowboys. Their starters went down and look at them scramble for a quality back up. They Vikings were willing to pay Sanchez $4million!!a year. But didnt want to give a high draft pick. They wound up with Sam Bradford and giving one anyway.

Even with the Preseason darling Prescot, the Cowgirls signed Sanchez.

The Dolphins are in a very good place QB wise. Thats the hardest position to fill. Doughty will make a good #2 eventually. But Moore can still win games if the unthinkable happened. The Oline needs to block and he needs to find a rhythm , but he could start on many NFL teams.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Moore's role as a backup has not been that bad. It's been a few years but I remember us completing the season with him one year and he maybe only played in one losing game and surprisingly almost got us into the playoffs and we were tied for that playoff spot we missed.

Let me ask you a quiet question, SamSam. Do you think that a guy who is content to be a second stringer and does not quit to at least try to go to another team to be a first starter or does not retire if he can't be a starter is someone who is not deserving of respect???

I'm trying to get into what we used to call in the 60s "where you're coming from."

I mean you've been riding Moore and disrespecting Moore on this board with every post that you post in which you mention him?

I'm mean....what's up with that????????????

Have not disrespected him once.

We as fans have the right to judge a player and like a player or dislike a player as much as we want.

BTW i doubt there is a NFL team that he can go to and start.

He is just a backup player. Nothing more.

PS. He might go to a desperate team who just lost their starter and start....But once he starts playing like matt moore he be out of a job. And back to holding the clipboard.

Its ok to talk trash about sulky players chren.

After all we pay their salaries going to the stadium buying tickets parking and food at the stadium buy their jerseys....

They better perform or else we going to be on them like white on rice.

Also one of the things that i like about tannehill as opposed to matt moore....is that tannehill is calm in the pocket....

Have you seen matt moores eyes after a rush by a Dline...

He is nervous and hops in the pocket and looks scared like a lil bytch back there.

Quote: And don't forget that I am now praising Tannehill for playing like I knew he could now that he has been unleased.

Praising him for what?

10 completed passes in a meaning less pre season game?

If you ask me i still have flashes of last year and missing the playoffs.

Quote : But you didn't answer my question. First, you seemed to deny that you had ever disrespected him, Matt Moore that is, and then repeated that "he's just a backup, nothing more." That's disrespect to me because if you were saying that he is not starting, that's factual and okay, but you are saying that he is not FIT to start. That's disrespect.

Saying that he is just a backup is not disrespect.....

Saying that he is a idiot a moron a jack2SS is disrespect.

Like i said we as fans have the right to say if a player is good or not. And in this case iam right......Matt moore has always been a nothing more than a backup for a reason..

Sometimes when you play scared those things happen....Matt Moore got his face knocked out because he plays scared.

If matt moore got hit as many times as tannehill did hed be in the ER every other game.
