Caroo will return kicks. So, IMHO we have weak spots at CB and LB as of today. I don't think we need to take a DT either but I wouldn't mind us hedging our bets with one for depth.

I will tell you that I think our new DC is going to raise the level of play from our corners. Just as some feel that Gase is going to do wonders from Tanne I think Vance Joseph will do wonders for our corners. A former corner himself I think he demands good play from his corners. Taylor was a damn good cb at Boise staff and I think we will see that kind of play from him now that Johnson is our dc.

The same from the DL coach from Detroit he does not accept any bs from his players. I think we got the coaches that will demand good play and develop the players to achieve good play.

This is based on? his 1 career return in college for -4 yards?

Because we were so good stopping the run last year?

Actually, I just noticed that Drake only returned 1 PR at Bama.

That means neither Grant, Carroo or Drake have any experience returning punts.

My only hope for replacing Earl Mitchell (outside of JP) this year is Chris Jones. The 6'2 305 lb 25 year old had 6 sacks in 2013 and 3 in 2014. He was out all of 2015 with a calf injury but is said to be healthy now.

I wouldn't be surprised to see stills traded at some point this offseason.

I also see Mitchell and Dallas Thomas getting cut post 6/1.
