#1. That means nothing even if it were true.
#2. Tannehill has not failed, management has.
#3. Those coordinator's sucked and are either out of work all together or have been demoted for a reason.
#4. We are on our 3rd GM that stands behind Tannehill.
#5. Adam Gase loves Tannehill.
#6. Connor Cook is a pipe dream for people who can't put the pipe down.
#7. Tannehill is our starting QB! We are not drafting a QB.

That's the only response out of the 7? LOL

Actions speak louder than words in this case. Do you think he passed up Eli Manning without knowing what he was getting in Tannehill?

Sometimes coaches only get one shot to be a HC. He's not betting his career on a QB he doesn't believe in.

I'll tell you what. I'll bet on Ryan Tannehill having a great career under Adam Gase and you bet on Connor Cook. We'll revisit in one year.

My only projection is this.....

Ryan Tannehill: 4,200 yards, 32 TD's, 14 ints.

Moving up in this draft for Zeke Elliott is one of the dumbest moves the franchise could make.

The 2017 class of RB's is going to be: Leonard Fournette, Dalvin Cook, Christian McCaffrey, Nick Chubb, Elijah Hood, Semarjie Perrine, Royce Freeman, Jalen Hurd...

Why give up future picks when these guys are coming on board next year? The Phins probably land one of the top 5 names and have an elite RB for a long time.

I'm thinking they will wait for Jack and Zeke at 13. If both are taken before 13, they will entertain trade down offers up to 10 spots down.
If not, it's likely going to be a DB at 13.

Myles Jack just gave a statement saying he may need micro-fracture surgery....like a hot potato!

Many teams believe they can get zone corners in the later rounds of the draft. It's the cover corners that team always take high. They also present a higher bust rate.

Seattle formed the Legion of Boom with a 5th, 6th and UDFA cornerbacks in a zone system.

Not saying it's the way to go but it is a reality.

I see several late mocks with EE falling to 13. Can you imagine landing Parker and Elliott is consecutive drafts at 14 & 13? Please please!

You may be right, Joe. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Failed?

Per Webster: To prove so deficient as to be totally inefficient. To be unsuccessful. To disappoint or prove undependable.

Does not sound like RT to me. If you want to label the team as a whole (including coaches and FO), then I would agree that "failed" is proper, but for RT alone...no.

yeah.....because the last time we moved up to #3 it worked out so great for us. eye rolling smiley

We need to be smart and trade down for more picks. You cant move up , sideways , anyways for one player until your at least a playoff caliber team. We are sooooooooo far from a 1 player change over.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!
