Jerseys are cool, but that logo is a disaster.
The logo was bad from Day 1, and they never really seemed to get it right. Although the current one is stylistically better. Not great, but a little better IMO.
Goes to show that anything looks good if you go 17-0 with it on the side of your helmet.
Say what you want, as a 7yr old child growing up in NYC it was that logo that attracted me to the team . I made my mother get me a Dolphins winter jacket in 1973. And when I spoke with other fans in NYC, everyone said basically the same thing. That logo and the colors are the heart and soul of Miami and there history.
The mess we have now is represents the Mess Ross has brought us on every level.
We should have never gone away from the formula of the old logo. Updating it a bit like they did when JJ came here would be OK, maybe. But, throwing out the leaping dolphin and taking away his helmet was totally stupid.

BINGO KEN!!!I realize it's a buisness and updated Logos bring money, but changing it completely is just not only disrespectful to fans and the history it was egotistical.
I'm not a huge fan of the new logo, but it could have been worse... I agree that they should have kept with the leaping dolphin motif, but the rest of the uniform isn't that bad. I like the colors, and the font for the numbers is good. I am not a fan of the fact they took almost all of the orange away, though. All that being said, I think they ought to just make the throwbacks the new uniforms.

socalphin, you are correct on the jersey, however, the whole throwback uni is the best, and that includes the dolphin on the helmet.
The present uniforms look like the Carolina Panthers and sometimes, with a quick look, the South Carolina....Tarheels(?). Today's all whites not bad, but I prefer the old uniforms any day.

Your are Correct Captkoi! Anyone here know anything about guitars? They are another passion of mine. Anyway in 1948 LEO FENDER introduced the first solid body electric guitar , the Broadcaster (later changed to the name Telecaster) In 1954 He introduced The Straocaster. Since then other companies and builders have made literally thousands of different guitars. Some great in their own right. But easily the most collectable and the best sounding and playing guitars are the original design that Leo Fender made back then. Simply the best , Leo got it right out of the gate . I Liked all versions of the Miami Dolphins Unis up to this tragedy we have now. But these throwbacks are the Shit. Why ever change when they got it so right the first time? I guarantee the first thing the next owner does is go back to these Logos and uniforms. Maybe a small twist for marketing purposes. Cant wait.
Worst thing about the stadium now is its chock full of the new logo everywhere. Up to last season the Old logo was abound . Makes me want to piss on the wall.
If we win tonight its all because of the old logo/uniforms.
If we lose is because of the bad mojo from the rediculous new logo that we cant shake.
new logo is just an embarrasment.
And why when your the only team in the league with acua would you go to blue?
Now wheThey look like so many other teams now.
How can anyone be proud of that shirt the coaches wear on the sidelines? So embarrassing.
They have been playing like they look.
I agree......Look at most logos and they are MEAN. JJ even knew that and he gave the Dolphin a bit of a grimace. I was cool with that. I LOVE that version of the Logo. But this swishy limp wristed guppy we have now needs to go. I believe its bringing negative Karma.
I'd petition Dolphin alumnae of the 70s and 80s if they want this current group of losers wearing the same uniforms they did. Seems to me that it's sacrilege for today's impostors to be wearing the same colors that Griese, Csonka, Marino, Stephenson, Little, etc. wore.
Don't worry, SamSam. It took a long time for people to agree with us about Philbin. It will just take a little longer for them to see the truth about Tannehill being a pocket quarterback as opposed to a read option quarterback. They are waiting for him to join what they think is his rightful company with Andrew Luck and Peyton and Eli Manning. They'll keep dreaming for a little while longer.
I'm not labeling him.Given a competent Oline and an extra second he can be highly effective. Maybe not elite, but he is certainly capable of winning a championship with the right people.
