They are making the difficult throws and the difficult catches and we are MISSING the easy throws and the easy catches. Maybe we should just settle back for a better draft choice.
You can change your vote on that poll. I know I'm going to change mine.
Yet I see on replay that the ball was still thrown behind Cameron who had to make a more difficult catch for the TD and which made it potentially easier for the defender to knock down or intercept.
I'm sure the refs aren't helping us (they never do) but if you wanna see a 'fix is in' game watch Washington and Carolina. It is approaching Patriots territory.
Screw this pu$$y@$$ team. No heart, no fire, dead beat QB. Miller running all over them but we go away from that.
I really feel bad for the players that do care. There isn't many that I can see. To the Cowboys really. Just win enough games to get us a crappy draft pick. That is what we should do.
Everyone is welcome to my house when it gets dark for a nice big bon-fire. Bring the mallows I got the beer.
Romo might make mistakes and play ugly a lot but he got it done WHEN he had to. He's the antithesis of us... And I'm not JUST talking about Tannehill... We play well only when way ahead or way behind, or in the middle of the first half for a series or two, or the preseason, or when we're out of the playoffs. But when it matters we CHOKE so predictably. It's been like this for a decade...No heart, just none...ANYWHERE.
For what it's worth, we don't have a QB that can take the bulls by the horn and do anything. With the opportunity to move down the field in the 4th quarter, Tannehill could not find an open receiver and held the ball too long again and was sacked. On the TV replay from another camera it showed the receivers standing still with defenders alongside them. What, no movement to breakaway from their defenders to help out our hapless QB? That play, IMO, was the end of the game for us. All possible hope evaporated in that moment. This is more than a coaching or training failure--to me it shows a real lack of football smarts, awareness and raw talent.
The offense continues to sputter and points are few and far between. Expecting the Defense to play so many plays--being on the field too long--its quite apparent they tire and defensive play really falls off. Without help from the offense we can't compete.
I'm giving up on Tannehill--all things considered, he's not going to lead us anywhere, even if we were to hire the most professional, most respected, top-notch NFL head coach in the off season. Tannehill is not the guy. We need more talent at QB (and other areas too).
Watching the Thursday night game, Bortles and Mariota knew when to move up in the pocket. They have that internal clock and it's 2nd nature to buy some time.
Tannehill continues to just stand there waiting for something to happen. He's just not good.
Our offense has zero identity. It's so predictable what we're going to do.
Campbell may be a good guy but we need to clean house. Unfortunately we have Mike Tannenbaum running the show.
Reality is we have hit on very few FA or draft picks for decades. Tannehill unfortunately is NOT the answer, a slight upgrade from Henne. The OL and DB picks for the most have been busts
Time to look for a new QB
Phillips?
Parker?
Bryce McCain sucks, Taylor isn't much better. time to play Lippett to see what we have
