There are really only three rules and one request for posting on this board:

1. Treat each other with respect: There are a lot of message boards where you can go to insult other users on the Internet. Please don't do it here. Repeated violation of this rule will result in permanent removal from the board.

2. Talk about the Dolphins: This board is for CIVIL discussion about the Miami Dolphins and their opponents. This rule can be bent somewhat in extreme circumstances, such as events like 9/11, but generally this board is here to talk about the Dolphins.

3. Do no post Private Messages in public phorums: Private messages are meant to be just that - private. If someone gets really insulting, racist or threatens you in private, report that to the moderators and me directly with a PM or an email, but don't post Private Messages in public.

Request: Treat the team and the team members with respect: Most of the people who work for the team, whether they be players, coaches, staff or administrative people, care as much as you do about the team. Remember - members of the team are fans of the team as much as you and I are.

There are three moderators for the board: grooves12, JC and Phinsfan2. They do this only for the occasional "thank you" from me - not for any other reason - so please respect their suggestions. They have the authority to remove posts that violate the rules. They do not have the authority to ban users - only I can do that, but I respect their opinions.

On cursing, swearing and "bad" language: Currently, there no words listed in my "Censor" list, because I really don't believe there are any "bad" words. And when the Dolphins lose, I find that I use a lot of expletives myself.

On the other hand, I also find that people who can't express themselves without constantly swearing are generally not very bright and not terribly interesting. So I ask that users please moderate their own language, realizing that anyone can read their posts.

And of course - NO SPAM!!.

Do feel free to post links to other interesting Dolphins' websites and articles. Unlike some other boards, I encourage people to share things they want other fans to see.

But NO SPAM!!. If you don't know the difference between links that are relevant to the Dolphins and spam, ask me or one of the moderators.
