This is a moderated phorum for the CIVILIZED discussion of the Miami Dolphins. In this phorum, there are rules and moderators to make sure you abide by the rules. The moderators for this phorum are JC and Colonel.
Kick off in a few minutes. Not much time this week to correct flaws in D or O from last Sunday, so I'm hopeful but not optimistic about the
end result. As a fan, all I can say is GO DOLPHINS!
The two opening series tell you all you need to know. We open with bubble screens and passes into the dirt.... Jets... 58yrd bomb and a power run into the end zone.

Looks like the wheels just popped off the train. Terrible 1st 5 minutes.
Sad thing if we lose this game and Philbin is fired and take Coyle w/ him. This thing is going to get worst. Say Lazor is named the interim HC. Will he be able to handle that job as well as OC. I don't see anyone else on the staff ready to call plays. Defense is worst most of our defensive coaches don't have more than 3 years of nfl experience. The most is our LB coach Duffner and he should be in Coyles suitcase when he is walking out the door.
2 illegal motion penalties on wideouts are the players trying to throw this thing?
Miami is being eaten alive out there. Nothing unusual for this season. Hopefully this game shows the way to ditch the Pinhead.
Kudos to Todd Bowles, he should have been ours.
On the offensive side: Tannehill has no time at all to throw, he is not showing any ability to recognize or adjust to blitzes. Jest showing no fear of the running game. Play calling is predictable.
Another rebuild is in order. This time let's start with the line instead of with a first round QB and hoping that he'll make the whole team around him better.

Yes, something should work and its up to the coaches to find it. Run game stinks, pass game stinks. Year after year different players same crap. That's coaching, scheme and players but there is something wrong w/ our oline that goes beyond players.
Saying the play calling is predictable is an understatement! Short pass on first down, run on second down, and short pass to make up the 15 yards we lost on the run on second down. This coaching staff needs to go!
We have inadequate guards. Our O-line play is incapable of protecting Tannehill who appears to be gun shy now. He's not moving. He takes no corrective action on plays as evidenced by the 16 seconds of 3 down and out play before the end of the half. Lazor's calls aren't good either.
We have not put together one drive. The 7 points we mustered were the result of Jets' penalties. We have nothing going offensively.
Fitzpatrick is not having a good day. He's missed open players who have not been covered well. The score would be more lopsided if he were more accurate with this throws. He has all day to throw, BTW.
Philbin ....everyone's thinking pretty much the same about him. No need to state the obvious.
The o-line would probably be adequate IF opposing defenses feared or even respected Tannehill's arm. That dink and dunk passing attack just doesn't scare anybody. No reason to back off from the line.
It is not so much the play calling as it is, Tannehill has no time to throw, so he is constantly going with the hot read, which is always a short dump off..

5:30 am wake up here and what do I see? This Dolphins team being embarrassed on national television. Hard to admit that this team is the bottom feeder of the AFC East - It hurts to see this.
Anything short of a complete coaching and some player rebuilding after this season is unacceptable.

We will not get the first pick.
Trust me ,we will find a way to win a few games when it don't count....We will get the 10th or so pick and pick yet another scrub.
