Some areas strengthened overall but same dreadful weaknesses plague this team that have already been mentioned by myself and others on this board: OL, Linebackers, Defensive Secondary
I think we are looking at an 8-8 Team unless this passing game somehow manages to up its game to legendary levels.
I read the Oline struggled the most out of all the different groups... Not encouraging, granted Albert is out, but doesn't sound like the guards looked very good either....

Not worried about LB's. OG..will be fine once they figure out Thomas is a dud. CB ok IF Taylor stays healthy. We have 16 OL'men and 16 DB's on the roster. They should be able to find a guard out of all those bodies.

I agree Joe. Oline is our biggest concern for sure but the only spot I'm concerned about on the starting unit is LG. Once Thomas takes a seat and they start giving reps to Douglas or Walton things will begin to solidify. And by the time Albert returns we should be good to go.
We just can't absorb any major injuries on the oline. We have little depth.
I really hope a solid olineman or two shake loose this summer.
"Fourth-round rookie OL Jamil Douglas earned first-team reps at right guard in relief of Thomas. OC Bill Lazor said his first impression of Douglas was “excellent. ""

Source tells @NFLonFOX that @MiamiDolphins K @CalebSturgis1 suffered quadriceps injury to plant leg. Severity being evaluated. Not at OTAs
That would be rad if Tony Lippet can fight for the #2 spot.. We need a bigger corner in the worst way...

CB1 Brent Grimes, Jamar Taylor
CB2 Cortland Finnegan, Will Davis
CBN Wilson, Thomas
FS Delmas, Aikens
SS Jones
2015:
CB1 Grimes, Lippett
CB2 Taylor, Zach Bowman
CBN, Brice McCain, Bobby McCain
FS Delmas, Aikens
SS Reshad Jones
That leaves Cedric Thompson, Will Davis, Don Jones, Michael Thomas & Jordan Kovacs fighting for one spot.
I always liked Michael Thomas but it's now or never for him to separate himself as a nickel and/or safety.
Will Davis coming off injury is fighting an uphill battle and likely gone.
Don Jones is one of our best ST's players but has not distinguished himself at DB enough to stick.
Kovacs is gone as I think the nod would go to Cedric over him unless he is just awful on ST. Cedrick is a 4.4 guy with a 41" vertical and also a good tackler.
It's tough to call on the McCain's. Would we really keep two undersized nickle CB's? Not likely to bounce the first 5th round pick (5-9) this early though.
Cedrick was taken at 5-14 and Lippett at 5-20.
Aikens gets the nod for his versatility. He can play either FS and CB.
Cedrick Thomas can play SS or FS.
Zach Bowman had 6 picks in 2009 for the Bears but he is now 30 years old and didn't have a great year in 2014. He could be sacrificed to keep a younger player (Cedric) if someone like Bobby McCain shows he can play outside. Bobby is short (5'9) but very thick at 195 lbs and also had a 36" vertical.
2015: option B (most likely IMO)
CB1 Grimes, Lippett
CB2 Taylor, Bo McCain
CBN, Brice McCain
FS Delmas, Aikens
SS Reshad Jones, Cedric Thompson
