Yes I am seriously saying that. I've never heard anything to the contrary.

CHyren you are out to lunch on this guy, what happen to those untainted stats and rankings you were going to prove your point with... Since they don't seem to prove your point, you seem to ignore them now.. You are a lawyer you said you wanted to bring something into evidence, until it proves the contrary... You know you can't take them back now right? Evidence isn't a one way street.. It either proves or disproves your position... Guess what it disproves it...

IF Micheal Sam doesn't turn into this stud NFL player you think he is, are you going to blame his team and coaches for not developing him properly and holding him back because of his sexuality... Is that what he is now, one big excuse for everything that happens to him, because of his sexuality...
What about you telling me what he did was no different then most of the other draft picks when they were drafted... That is completely wrong as well.. Do you need me to send you the cake scene footage and challenge you to find anything of the sort with any other player... You seem pretty wrapped up in this guy and attacking anyone that offers the slightest bit of opinion on him you don't like...
Are you the end all be all source for all things related to this guy... You didn't even now his past performance, so obviously you don't know that much about him... I hope he is great and shines, but your argument alone doesn't make it so..

Chyren you quoted the wrong post... And I didnt question your lawyer ability..... Why don't you look them up, and prove to me how these untainted assessment prove your point...

why is the burden on me? All I need to say is that he was the MVP of the toughest football conference and you show me how that means nothing.

A lawyer will tell you that the burden of proof lies with those making the affirmative proposition.

A lot of the bullsh*t on this board is that he never would have been a pick at all except for the fact that he came out and made himself a celebrity by so doing.

Crowder, you should not jump in on the side of people making stupid statements unless you can defend them yourselves.

You are not thinking with your head. Don't think with your emotions.

LOL. Ask me to provide the proof (or disproof) of THEIR OWN STATEMENT WHICH I DON'T AGREE WITH?????? How silly.

Chyrne now you are telling me I am not thinking with my head.. I am not standing up for anybody, I am just talking to you about what you are saying that I don't agree with... I hate to break it to you, but you are the one acting on emotions in this topic.. Look at some of the statements you are making... Call me crazy but they seem pretty emotional....

I can't call you anything because you are not giving me any examples of where I am being emotional. You're just throwing that conclusion out without supporting it with references. Kind of like the people you defended who said that without this controversy, Michael Sam would have not even been drafted as high as he was or disputing my assertion that the MVP of the SEC would have probably gone in the first three rounds.

No Chyren I said, he was rated as a 5th rd pick ranking 169, and the distractions effect dropped him to the 7th.. And he was not rated as a 3rd rd pick..

I'm a tolerant person. What I don't tolerate is ESPN showing that softcore gay porn moment over and over and over again and labeling anyone that didn't like it a bigot or homophobe.

Tolerance now equals acceptance.

You either get on that progress bus or fear being labled for disagreeing.

What a joke our pc correct society has become.

Scroll to the bottom pops, they list the top 40 DE's and top 40 LB's, he's not on either list, if that's not enough proof for you then I give up, do the research yourself........oh wait, that would involve actual facts......

Okay, holic, I scrolled down and see what you mean but weren't you the one (or was it someone else) always downing the Bleacher Report?

I don't see how the MVP of the SEC and the starting all conference defensive player does not make a list of either the Seniors, the Draft eligibles and even the non-draft eligibles but yes, you found support for your position, however bizarre.

Sure do. Like I said before, he didn't go out of his way to try to create fame for himself after he announced. A story like this is going to get a certain amount of notoriety on its own. He clearly didn't try to cash in on this until now.

As a 7th round pick with short odds to play in the NFL, he's entitled to make a paycheck any way he wants.

I think devoting any time to a weekly tv show while trying to make an NFL roster would be a terrible mistake and an admission on his part that he doesn't think he'll play in the NFL.

If this is more of a documentary or along the lines of hard knocks and it doesn't interfere with football then its much ado about nothing.

If they were in the same post...yes.

But they were 4 months apart and regarding two differnt things..

The first comment was part of a discussion about why he came out back in February. You thought he was trying to create a buzz and cash in on it. I didn't. I was right.

He did nothing until after the draft. Now he's a 7th round pick with shot odds at an NFL career. If he wants to make some cash letting a film crew follow him around through the process... who cares? If it interferes with football or the team in any way he'll get cut faster than he can eat a piece of cake. if it doesn't and its a documentary like hard knocks but off the field...again...who cares?

He didn't do anything until after he was drafted because it would have proved he was a nightmare distraction... There was no photos of him with his boyfriend or anything of that sort... Even in the draft when they went to him prior to being drafted you saw no reference to his boyfriend... But once he was drafted, he went all out, why because he was already drafted he got his meal ticket. Then before camps even starts he already has a deal with Oprah... That is pretty quick... Now you will see the media mania.. Pre draft no way, it wouldn't make sense for what he wanted... Now he is in a position of strength with the team and PR. If they cut him now because of the reality show signing they are destroyed in the press, probably sued, a PR nightmare.. If the show was announced pre draft, nobody would have drafted him and teams would have legitimate excuse as to why they didn't draft him...

7th rd picks getting all the attention on a team for reasons not related to what he is doing on the field is not a good scenario for his team or teammates.. I think it is going to create a riff in the locker room with players who deserve the attention for their accomplishments on the field.. But the lights, cameras and microphones will be on Sam each week... I imagine the Rams will have to interject and restrict the media access to him.. Either way the whole thing seems like a head ache for everyone in and around the Rams organization... I mean I forgot the Rams even drafted Robinson #2 overall, haven't even seen one story on him...

The reality show was ridiculous. Imagine you get hired for an entry level job out of college and you show up on day one with a camera crew to document and televise your life for television. And you never mentioned this to the employer till after you show up for work. How do u think the employer would feel? They'd feel pissed off and misled and want you out of there ASAP. That's what Sam just tried to pull. So idiotic.
