We'll we will be a 8/8 team give or take a game or two just by looking at the schedule. Oh we'll be in most games but not enough weapons on offense and too new a line to keep up, especially because of our weak ass line backers.

Vikings, Chiefs, Ravens, Lions ALL stunk just a few years ago. We beat the Chargers just this past season. These games are all winnable and loseable. Predicting our record now is impossible.

It's always fun to predict, but I am with you, Montequi...it is way too early for predictions. FA isn't yet over...cuts before the season starts is still coming...and the draft has yet to occur.

Way to go out on a limb there, you just predicted anywhere from 10-6 to 6-10
Every year a number of teams, that made the play offs and were contenders are not the following year.. Look at 2012 play off teams Falcons, Texans, Ravens, Vikings, Redskins... It happens every year, you never know with a lot of teams...
But on paper, The Broncos, Ravens, Packers, Kansas City, with Patriots twice, are all going to be tough games on paper....then add Detroit and San Diego, our defense is going to need to be in check against those offenses... All I can say from that line up is we need to find another CB and someone to cover the TE... Dion Jordan on the TE?

We could of easily made the playoffs last year if it wasn't for Martin, and the lack of an offensive line. Not too mention the injuries at receiver as well. Too early too tell how the schedule will be, but we have improved the team slightly.

QUESTION: Do you mean before he left or after he left?
Before he left, we went 4-5.
Immediately after he left, we went 4-1 until blowing the last two games to the inferior Jets and Bills.
One could argue that his presence on the team before he left contributed to the poor record and that only AFTER he left did the team demonstrate its real potential.
So, ironically, him leaving the team was a good thing for us. So there are two ways of looking at the blowup of Bullygate. It may have been a good thing.

LOL, Finshady. It sounded like you were going to put it all on Martin, then you added the offensive line, then the injuries to receiver...
You could also throw in there RT's problems with hitting Wallace on the deep throws (OL, RT himself, Wallace not fighting for the ball); then you can throw in the running game (OL, backs not hittibng the hole), then our defensive front 7 (not playing as well as previous season, giving up close to 2,000 yards rushing), LBers not having a good season, and our DBs having problems covering. throw in the coaching decisions and Sturgis going into a slump.
