Doesn't say. But they start at $180,00 to $300,000. His is a convertible so I'm going to say closer to $300,000. Then he pays a company to completely customize it , the engine, paint, wheels........Had to be north of $400,000 IMO. Must be nice. eye popping smiley

I think I could buy one, but my payments would be hell. A used one yes, but why waste the money on a car?

I love sports cars, and this is a top-of-the-line beauty, but I don't think I could afford the insurance - or the tickets.

Whoa! I'm haggling with a used car dealer over a used car for $8995 and trying to get him to come down on that.

To spend upwards of 300K for any F430 is completely stupid. There are more worthy cars out there for that kind of money...but salute to him for getting it. Afterall, its his money.

No doubt its a status thing. And Kudos to him for reaching that point to be able to purchase it.

But for my Money, a nice new Porsche 911 or new Cadillac CTS-V would do the trick nicely. Anything more then that is just status and showing off. It goes against the grain of my being. Nothing wrong with wanting more, Lambo's are cool but I just "don't get it"
anymore at this point in my life. I own a Volvo if that shows you how boring and safe I am. thumbs up

LOL. I had 4 Mini Vans in a row. They are great for what they do and they have come a long way. But now that my boys are older I talked the wife into a Volvo XC90 SUV. Digging it. Not a BMW But its got safety features up the ying Yang and right now I kinda dig Airbags over horsepower. winking smileythumbs up

Nothing stupider then spending that much money on a asset like that, which depreciates faster then ice melts.... If you just want to kiss 1/3 of a million dollars good bye, by all means have at it, but something tells me, when he is 60 that 1/3 million will mean a lot more then that cars was worth to him now.... Ego driven foolishness spending more then 100 K on a car....... You can get a pretty damn nice care for 100K.. But that wasn't enough, you see what I mean...

It is why I am a big fan of Cam Wake, he doesn't do stupid shit like this... Wisdom can sometimes be painful....

twins on the way? wow. congratulations and good luck... I would recommend a 750 li BMW instead of the minivan or M3, just as much room as the minivan... Climate control shades for the kids in the back... 450HP turbo, so it hauls ass, and big safe car in case of accident.. Big enough trunk that both car seats fit in the trunk for business meetings where u have to drive. Its the direction I went after having 2 boys... couldn't be happier... BMW makes one of the nicest cars, Mercedes is crap these days...

I've owned it now since around last thanksgiving. I can whole heartedly endorse it now. Like I said I went from a Toyota Siennia mini Van to it , and 3 others before it , so I had to get used to a little less room. But in reality its just less room for the Kids to collect crap. winking smiley Its funny, My wife said I must really like it because I stopped washing cars years ago. A Task I used to really enjoy. I just took the Mini Van to a car wash. Now I bought a new bucket , I throw some tunes on, and have at it again! Great Car.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

thanks crowder, my current car is a 335i and we need to replace my wife's sedan with something that can fit 2 car seats and a 3d row. Given the crazy expenses that are upcoming with the babies on the way we're in the honda odyssey or hyudai santa fe price range, no more bimmers for us! but I have driven the bmw SUV as a loaner from the dealer and it was NICE

Wow. Congrats brother! The Volvo XC90 has a 3rd Row ( 8 seater)BTW.........and Built in child seats that just flip down. Babies will probably need the get the old fashioned reverse ones though , but the built in restraints make it really safe and easy. Side curtain airbags are what sold me though. Might be the safest SUV made. thumbs up

eh, I saw the car, grey over red leather which is becoming the hot trend. I am not a huge F430 fan, if I was to do a Ferrari, I would pony up for either the newer 458 or the F40 which to me is the raw power I would be looking for. When you start customizing a Ferrari, your values really go south also. To me there is nothing beeter than the car in my current stable and that is a 2011 GT3 RS. Its not the most expensive, its not the fastest, but its the most complete car that I have ever owned. I will have this for a very very long time.

No, I look for the complete car, 0-60 is a waste to talk about, roll on acceleration is much more useable in real life. I actually like a car that handles well and is fun on a track.

I think its great. He's still a young man who makes a lot of money, and from that video it looks like he did some promotional work for the tuner, so he bought what looks like a lower-end Ferrari and worked a deal that allowed him to come away with a top-end rocket. Sounds smart to me.

Volvo, M3 Cadillac? You guys are too old now and are too far removed from the young mindset. Being in your late 20's and having mils the mind is ripe for doing stupid things.
