I remember this crazy guy named Jimmy that was a life long sailor(Cook) in the US NAVY. He retired and opened a Pizzeria. He would hit literally on every chick that walked into his place. He was not really an attractive guy...big Pot Belly , bald , missing teeth. 99% of the time he was turned down . But he always said......Hit on 100 women , at least 1 will always accept.

Great, a new guy to hate on. Sell the team Ross.

My wife came running over to me. She has news come into her Iphone--usually annoying stuff. She said, "the Dolphins just picked a general manager." "Who is it", I asked. She showed me the phone and I read "Dennis Hickey from Tampa Bay Buccaneers." I stated, "I don't know him."

My next immediate thoughts were, "from Tampa Bay?" "Tampa Bay!" Really. Who the heck is this guy?

That was my reaction, and still is my reaction after letting it sink in.

Well, I sure hope Dennis Hickey is a well kept secret and really shines as our bright new GM.

Let's just hope he knows what he's doing, and does a good job...

I don't know Treasure. Don't underestimate the hand. Have you heard the one about the 10 year old boy at the family reunion?

It was about 10 p.m. and he was looking for someone to play with.

He went into his daddy's bedroom and said, "could you play with me?" Daddy said, "No son. I'm playing cards here in bed and your mom is my partner."

He then went into his uncles bedroom and was told "No, nephew. I'm busy playing cards and your Auntie here is my partner."

He then went into grandpa's room and grandpa said, "No, grandson. I'm busy playing cards and your grandma here is my partner."

He then went into his sister's bedroom but she said, "No, little guy. I'm playing cards and my boyfriend Johnny here is my partner."

Lastly, he went into his teenage brother's room who was in bed by himself, however the brother said, "No. I'm busy playing cards."

"REALLY!" the kid angrily said, "Where YOUR partner?"

The teenage brother replied, "With a hand like this, who needs a partner?"

Been there at 4PM.......last call . It happens. But I can remember some of those Fat chicks being wayyyyyyyy more open minded if you get my drift then any of the Hot ones that are gone earlier on.

So in other words......Ross may not be parading this one around on his arm at the next big Dinner he has, But hopefully she is getting the job done when the lights go off.

Well, DF1, we Finfans can only hope he shuts up his doubters.

We can only hope he turns out to be the guy; Miami needs some good leadership as it hasn't had any in quite a while.

I've also voiced my concern over his former team not even granting him an interview with them for the GM job, but...

We will have a good idea about this guy during the FA period and who he resigns or releases with Miami.

The Bucs have had some very good drafts of late. The poor record is more a reflection of bad coaching than lack of talent. IMO, with the exception of the QB position, they have playoff level talent. They have also done well recently with signing free agents.

The statement that the Bucs were bad before and after the Superbowl win is not a very accurate statement. The Bucs won in the 2002 season; they made the playoffs every year from 1997 till they won the SB, making the NFC championship in 1999. When they signed Gruden, they traded a lot of draft picks (including I think 2 first rounders), so they were a bit hamstrung with the draft for a couple of year. They alternated good and bad season under Gruden, winning the division in 2005 and 2007, and even in Raheem Morris' 2nd season finished with 10 wins.

Hickey would have started with the Bucs around 1996, when they first started getting good.
