Their has been much debate about keeping Tannehill

Not he's right. BECAUSE Luck is the best POCKET quarterback in his class.
Tanny is not a pocket quarterback.
Tanny has the POTENTIAL to be the SECOND BEST QUARTERBACK IN THAT CLASS, after Luck, but only if his skill set is properly utilized and that IS NOT passing from the pocket.
sorry but it doesnt matter if luck is the best pocket qb in football...if the rush is on his face 99.9 percent of the time like it was on tannehill...............then luck aint making the playoffs with this phins team.
It doesn't matter who the best is. DAN MARINO IS RINGLESS. I just want a decent QB. Check. Now lets get an OC who doesn't throw long balls on 4th and 1. That's is all. Especially with one of the most mobile QB's in the NFL.

Lol..well h3ll yea, give Tim Tebow a 'great' O-line, receivers, running game and a shut down defense and he can be successful too. But only for a year...maybe two. A team like that is nearly impossible to build and impossible to keep together in this era of free agency.
The ABSOLUTE MOST IMPORTANT ELEMENT for year after year successful NFL team today is a 'great' QB. Players have come and gone, the Patriots are still successful with the lady, Marino never got a ring but while he was here our team was almost always successful. By successful I mean a contender, competitive, relevant.
You can keep dreaming of re-building the 72 team, or the '85 bears or the early 90's Giants, it AIN'T gonna happen. We need a 'great' QB to return to relevance AS A FRANCHISE (we are after all DOLPHIN fans, not Feely, Henne, or Tannehill fans). If Tannehill is one he hasn't showed it in two unchallenged, un-injured years of starting (and those last two games were the PERFECT chance for him to do so).

True, every team would like to have a "great" QB, but there are very few of them right now. I can name four "great" ones that are in the league at present time, but that's it. I don't see any coming in this year's draft, nor next year's (so far).
RT is a good QB who will get better. But, although you make light of it, KB, RT and every other QB in the league needs a good OL to be able to do anything in this league. RT hasn't had a good OL since he's been in Miami, and he has done very well (stat-wise).
That's what Sam and others are saying...give him a decent OL that can protect him, and he will do a much better job.
Go ahead, KB, get rid of RT; then what are you going to do?
Riddle me this Tanne is a good runner with the football. However he did not run as much as he could, and their fore took too many sacks, and in completions. Why not allow him to improvise, and be more spontaneous on the field instead of a robot. He played like he had no passion for the game, and that was very troubling. I say bring another QB, and may the best man win. How about Josh McCown did damn good with the Bears.
And Finshady, when he was improvising those few times, like you said, you could see on his face a changed man. You could see confidence on his face. Not the scared puppy you see in the pocket.
