Cowboys also cut Saftey ROY WILLIAMS.

He is a Parcells guy. He can't cover a lick but he plays the run well. Expect him to land in Miami within a week to 10 days

Williams would have to come dirt cheap considering that he is a one-dimensional player and we have already spent a ton of money on the safety position.

Roy is beast on defense...This would still be an upgrade with what the phins have at safety. He may not be able to cover in a nickel type package, but the guy is always around the football and makes plays!

Another case of over an hyped player who makes the news with big hits. He would be better off gaining 15 lbs and converting to LB'er. He is too slow for safety.

In 2007 he had no forced fumbles and 2 ints.

He got noticed for big hits and one year where he made 5 ints. he has declined since.

Both of our safeties are better than him.

Very true eesti. If anything he needs to convert to OLB.

I also agree with Reppa, I hate the guy and would also love to horse collar him after the Reppa gets one in on him.

He is only 6'-0" tall so OLB may not be a good fit in a 3-4. Maybe in a 4-3 defense. 6'-0" 235 lbs would be a good size for him. He could be a Derrick Brooks type of guy. Brooks is 6'-0" 235 lbs and played WLB. He could be a great fit in Indy.

Why has no one tried to convert him to a linebacker yet?? You'd think after a few years of showing a combination of hard-nosed run stuffing but painfully inadequate coverage skills, somebody would look at his body type and think "hey, you suck at safety, let's put you in a position to make more tackles and focus a bit less on that coverage thing you suck at"
