Since our opportunity in 2020 for complete reboot, I've thought that FA needs to be a part of building our OL into a legitimate strength. We have more cap space than anyone and can gain an additional $13.6M in space by releasing the following: Butler, Hurns, Fejedelem, Carter, Little. While they'd need to be replaced in terms of simply having a 53-man roster, I don't think we'd suffer measurably with the loss of any of them.

Point is - we shouldn't be outbid in getting who we want. I think it makes sense for us to get:
- Laken Tomlinson (LG)
- Terron Armstead (LT)
Both have been really consistent over the years in terms of rated performance. Both are still relatively young (30 & 31). And both are coming from teams whose cap constraints may keep them from retaining them, though they may want to. Tomlinson brings the added benefit of having played under McDaniel in SF.

LT - Armstead
LG - Tomlinson
C - Deiter & draft pick
RG - Hunt
RT - Eichenberg & draft pick

I read the Dolphins still have an offer that's been agreed upon by Deshaun Watson.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Do you mean a trade offer to the Texans and Watson has said he would waive his no-trade to be traded to us? I.e. same basic place it was commonly understood to be prior to the trade deadline when the only thing holding it back was resolution of his legal issues? Just making sure I'm understanding.

If true, it goes to show that the Dolphins have an inability to scout their own QB talent through the draft. I personally would pass on Watson, too many off field issues. Besides, the Texans still sucked with him at QB so I don't see the point of selling the house and barn to sign him.

How's this...Maybe Miami should fire their scouting department for their ineptitude at evaluating QB's.

Cam Robinson, Terron Armstead, Lakin Tomlinson, Nick Martin and take an OL later

Move X and Parker for xtra picks

Land Treylon Burks in the first a top RB, CB, other WR

Think McDaniel will draw some offensive FA

Rumor has it, if Adams goes, watch for a trade for Rodgers

Point taken. Absolutely our scouts havnt been then great or the admin didn't listen to them.

But Watson on the Texans can be compared to Dan Marino on the Dolphins.
No defense, or running threat.

Also he is being made out way worse then actually he is by one lawyer representing all women who is a rabid Texan fan and hates Watson for leaving.

We have 3 first rounders in the next 2 drafts. He would be well worth it and can easily be paid under the cap.

This team would compete immediately. The Bills wouldn't know what hit them.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!
