Haha, thanks. You have a great memory!. Honestly I didn't even catch the match--only the highlights.

I'm glad for the Azzurri, but I absolutely LOATHE penalty kick shootouts!!

I hate soccer penalty kicks in general, but shootouts are particularly horrible....just let them keep playing over time periods. Like the Phins Chiefs playoff game in 1971!

The only match I watched from this tournament in its entirety was Ukraine vs. Sweden and it did not disappoint.

They have made some inroads re video review in Soccer, but if they ever eliminate flopping (maybe by 3 game suspension and a fine of one year's salary...for the first offense grinning smiley ) and also eliminate penalty kick shootouts, then this soccer thing might finally take off in the USA. Well probably not but it would be a much better sport to watch
