Grant extension

I like the idea of extending "your own" before they hit the market as a concept. And, I like Jakeem Grant and what he brings to the table as a receiver and returner. A couple of things that make me wonder:
- he's coming off season-ending injury
- his production to date doesn't equate to 6 mill/yr (my opinion)

Another factor that could be negatively clouding my perspective is the fact that several of our recent "sign before they hit the market" deals have (again, my opinion) been overpays relative to production: Alonso, McDonald, the DE #50 (can't even remember his name)...even Reshad's several extensions have put us in a hole with him to where he has the leverage to quit on his team w/no serious recourse.

Anyway, here's to hoping this works out in our favor because I really do like the concept overall.

My wife is a big believer in underdogs.
And she loves cheering for the little guy. Grant is a positive for this team.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

The biggest! On our first date , back in 91' The Phins were on a Monday night game behind her in the restaurant in Brooklyn NYC. She saw me glancing and finally gave up and moved her chair over and watched. 6 yrs later we named our first Born , Daniel , after Dan the man. Meant to be 25 yrs later!thumbs up

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

There's a Herald article outlining the specifics of the Grant contract, and I really like what the team did there. Kudos, it seems.
