Ken, one thing that you have to consider that at least in my opinion supersedes comebacks is winning percentage. Luck's winning percentage is .605, Tannehill's is .481. Ultimately, having more wins than losses is what defines success. I'm not a Tannehill basher. I think he can be successful if a good enough team is put around him. I think he could've done the same thing that Nick Foles did last year. Good coaching and a good supporting cast and Tannehill can get you there. I don't think, however, he's in the same class as Luck. That's no shot at him, few QBs are. Luck has had the same problems as Tannehill in that Indy hasn't helped him with a decent team and particularly an offensive line that can pass block. Luck elevates the players around him. Tannehill isn't in that category. I'd take a healthy Luck over pretty much any other QB in the league. Unfortunately for Luck, whether he's ever going to be fully healthy is uncertain.

But barely made the playoffs once in his tenure as a dolphin.

We need a qb that can make players around him better.

Maybe he turns into that player this year.

My hopes are still up.

Guys, I was only speaking to the people that have said he never brings the team back from a deficet and never succeeds in a 4th quarter comeback. Other factors obviously have a bearing but in 4 years playing he has a pretty fair number of comebacks. In fact, if his current pace continues he will have the most ever if he plays 17 years or more like the top players on the list...

Jay Fielder's winning percentage was greater than 61% with the Dolphins. Better than Dan Marino's.

(Just posted that to cause trouble spinning smiley sticking its tongue out .)

Fiedler had Ricky Williams and a great defense. Surround Tannehill with the team Fiedler had and we could do some damage. My point was only that Tannehill needs a strong team around him to succeed. Luck when healthy is better. No one can really deny that. The big question is whether this front office is capable of building a good enough team around Tannehill for him to be successful. Based off of this off season, I'd say it's very unlikely.

I agree. At least you had a point. I didn't!

I just saw the winning percentage posted and wondered about Fiedler and Marino and decided to look it up.
