There was lots of debate on this board as to whether it was better to come out when your stock is high or stay for another year to try and win a college title... Well with this years qb's dropping I think there is no question that it is better to come out when your stock is high.

Im talking about Matt Barkley and Landry Jones (remember him lol). These guys if they came out last year were not only first round projections they likely could have also been drafted in the top 10. Fast forward just one year and Barkley and Jones both drop to the 4th. There is a long list of guys that stay and fall. Most notably I think is Arian Foster who if he came out his jr year he was a top 15 guy one year later he falls so much he does not even get drafted...

Jake Locker could have been the #1 pick if he would have come out early.

And it shows just how Fickle the QB position can be. If you drop stock in college, how will you fare in the NFL? Then Again Dan Marino's stock dropped in his senior year at Pitt. You just never know.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

and whos to say these players wouldn't have dropped anyway after teams worked them out at the combine, pro day, etc. They could have very well been exposed and dropped.
