I would take Derwin James (FSU) at #11 to build our 3 safety backfield. James is versatile can play CB, FS, SS and lb. I think he is the kind of guy would have an impact on all 10 guys around him.

Yes, perhaps, but what about the T.J. McDonald to LB part?

TJ mcdonald is athletic and has some size for a safety.

I like the idea of putting him as a LB experiment.

Almost guarantee he be a ball hawk stopping the run. And he played safety so he would be good covering tends and rbs on the pass game.

Yeah McDonald could do the job. Dan Jaroz (Phinfever) had us taking Minka Fitzpatrick at #1 in his mock yesterday. That would work, Jones(s/s) and Fitzpatrick(f/s) at safeties McDonald roaming and destroying. I think we need a true f/s at times.

I could actually live w/ his first 3 picks:
1 Fitzpatrick DB AL
2 Hurst TE SC
3 Falk QB WA ST
