He was on Bubba the Love Sponge this morning. He sounds like a good, humble kid that has his head on straight. He said he would love to play for the Dolphins. His uncle lives in FT. Lauderdale and is rooting for it as well. He is friends with Joe Bailey and had been lobbying for the Dolphins to select JL if he is available. Not that this means anything since Bailey has nothing to do with the football operations. It would be nice though.

Assuming he truly IS the best ILB available at #25, I'd absolutely welcome him. Some people on the board have had concerns about him, but I'll trust BP, Sparano, and Ireland to make the right decision.

Wow. He would've been #7 last year. And he's in the mix to be chosen at #25 this year. I think this may be a blessing for the DOLPHINS. We need an instinctual ILB that will make the proper reads and make plays in the backfield.

thumbs up James Laurinaitus

-but we need a big BAD ASS CENTER more!

I can't imagine that he'd really fall all the way to 25.

First off, that is not how you spell his name. Next, I not sure he would be available either, but if we don't sign Crowder and Laurinaitis is available, then I am all for the pick. In fact, at this point, my fingers are crossed.

Who cares but I do know I am sick of typing it. He needs a nick name but Lauri doesn's sound very tough.

Admittedly it is a pain to spell. In fact, in an article I read about him, the writer let it be known that he would simply refer to him as James because his last name was too hard to spell.

One thing for sure, if the Dolphins draft him and he plays soft, Parcells will definitely call him Lauri.

how about Leonidas? That's pretty bad ass. Although I guess that's still annoying to spell. And you probably gotta put your work in at the next level to earn that name before anyone calls you that. Especially as a rookie.

Leonidas? Excuse the pun, but you are going to have to spell that one out for me. I don't get it, but eesti obviously does.

I wake up this morning and suddenly it hits me. King Leonidas. I didn't remember anything about him so I looked him up. He was supposed to have been descended from Hercules. That would kind of fit considering JL's father.

As of right now they have Ayodele slated to take over for Carey but they can't be too impressed with him as he was only a two down player last year which is also why he had like only 88 tackles. I also like the kid from Pit in the 3rd round.

You mean you guys didn't hear about the position switch? oops. I guess I was excited about the Carey signing.

And talk about losing a few inches...JL was measured at 6'1-3/8 after being listed at 6'3 previously. They are also saying that he is not strong enough yet and doesn't have enough upper body strength.
