Who cares what the Patriots need, I dont get it? Until we knock them off their thrown they are still the Patriots...

Right on! BNF. What I think they need is a blindfold with their hands tied behind their backs, a place in front of a wall, and the sound of twelve rifles clicking as someone shouts "ready, aim, fire!"
Not mad at in the least. It was more stating the obvious. I don't understand why someone who doesn't care would bother to post a smart ass comment when it's obvious they do care...well maybe I do understand.
pats will regret not signing welker.
it seems like they were 1mm per year apart in money? so dumb, pats outsmarted themselves thinking they can just reaplace welker with anyone
bess to the pats for a 2d and 7th round pick? lol

I guess I am not much of a football fan because I don't care, nor care to to talk much about what the "Patriots team needs are".... Maybe you will get better feedback with that question on a Patriots fan site then on a Dolphins fans site, wouldnt you think...I am not suggesting you are Pats fan so dont take it the wrong way, just seems like a ridiculous question right now around here... The competition hasn't done anything, does that mean anything in March for a team that has won the AFC East title 9 of the last ten years?

The Patriots were good long before Wes Welker, and the Patriots are famous for having success with mediocre guys at WR... nothing naive about it, thinking that the Pats will not be successful because they lost Welker and didnt spend big money in FA is naive IMO... The Patriots have always let big names walk in FA throughout the years, nothing new...it is their M.O.

The reason why it's relevant is because if you know what the competition needs, you might be able to predict whom they'll go after in FA and whom they might draft.
That directly affects personnel strategy and therefore is relevant. Not nearly as important as focusing on our own team's needs, but relevant nonetheless.

The Pats are the team to beat in the East, no doubt about it.
However....Miami's most serious competition is MIAMI.

LOL. Then let me correct myself to say that the Pats are Miami's SECOND most serious competition.
