Al Johnson at Center....

Now that Al has been on this team for a few weeks would it behoove us to have him start at center while moving Samson over to guard. We all know how stout the Ravens D-line is.

Might this give us more strength and athleticism up front?

I wouldn't make any major changes NOW. If we start having trouble during the game, I suppose we could experiment, but Satele should start at Center.

I would love to see it. Our O-line just does not move the ball consistently enough. Al is a 2nd rounder, same as Satele but is stronger. I also thing Satele would excell as a pulling guard with his quickness. It is not exactly a major change as they have been working him in over the last couple of games.

I know that in the KC game we didn't rotate linemen. We kept Ndukwe, Satele, and Alleman in place the whole game. I tried to pay attention to that this week, and I think we stuck with the same thing. Based on that, I'd say it's not going to happen. But, Alleman did have two penalties, so maybe he gets less playing time.

Outside of the two penalties, Alleman has played very well the last several games. Don't mess with a good thing. I would hate to make the change and then have a critical problem with the center snap. Johnson gives us a good back up if we need it though.
