Date: December 31, 2008 04:35AM Everyone wants to over hype Ray Lewis. He is a great QB but if you want to compare stats, don't compare a MLB to a pass rusher. Compare him to another 4-3 MLB.
Zach Thomas and Lewis came out in the same draft so this is a pretty fair comparison. Tackles... Lewis has 1625, ZT has 95 more! That is a full season for some LB's. Forced Fumbles Lewis has 12, ZT has 5 more! TD's Lewis has 2, ZT has 2 more! Both are future Hall of Famers. Zach has more tackles, FF's and TD's while Ray has more INT's and sacks. They are pretty equal if you ask me but the fact that Zach did all these things even though he wasn't as physically gifted as Lewis is a testament to how great he really is. Also, Zach was a 5th round draft choice out of Texas Tech and Ray was a first rounder out of Miami....and Zach was never involved in any murders. ..................................................................................... “I'm here" You're welcome!" - Kenny Powers Re: Oh Snap! 55 is coming
