I would give us a C, but it all depends on if Thomas turns out to be a workhorse, Gates a big time deep threat, and Clay adds options out of the backfield
Could be A or B, could be D or F
if we land Noel Devine, Marion Fannin or derrick Locke I might upgrade a bit
only time will tell
looks like we will look for a QB via free agency and wait for luick or Barkley , Stephen Garcia, Landry Jones, Kellen Moore, Nick Foles, Kirk Cousins
We made a couple of good picks but we went totally the wrong way...JMO. SPEED and size should have been the priority for all of our picks...we fell far short of that. The two defensive picks in the 7th round were wasted picks because there were offensive players available that would have helped, and maybe even contributed greatly for us...and we passed.
Pouncey - the best interior linemane in the draft
Thomas - the second best rb.I like him, thought we had no chance 2get'm
Gates - good fast wr, helps Henne and Marshall
Clay - see Gates
Hill and Kearse good pickups I read the Steeler's were going to pick Kearse if we had not.
We filled holes, resisted some questionable qb's and decided to give our current qb's some help.
It was a stellar DRAFT! We need to be more offensive minded going forward. Issues were addressed without the expense of future picks.
POUNCEY is ALL-PRO material. When your Center is a snapping Sherman tank, thats a good thing.
We got a playmaking RB DANIEL THOMAS (clone of RONNIE minus injuries
GATES was the fastest CHUNK YARDAGE guy on the board because he's only been playing football for 3 years. His YAC are going be fun to watch. He's a Kick-Returning DEEPBALL SPECIALIST with unbeatable speed!
TE-FB (Cassius) CLAY the pass-catching, rushing safety net for both TE and FB positions a definate new wrinkle in short yardage.
DT- KEARSE (unknown)
CB JIMMY WILSON will add some competiton to the CB ranks. He has an amazing story that might become epic if he lives up to his potential in the NFL
C+ to me is the ceiling can not give an a until the guys actually produce.
The potential for an A is there. Thomas has better eyes than Ronnie and that will make a difference.
F....Everyone keeps saying pouncey is great....how does anyone know? He could be another Eddie Blake....to pass on Ingram and Mallett shows we have no guts in the draft and settle for being "safe".....thats why we have passed over many great players and been average at best for many years.
Shula had guts to take Marino when 26 other teams were playing it "Safe".....NO GUTS NO GLORY....SAME OL STORY!!!!!

Ronnie Brown used to leave yards on the fields, he did not have the best running vision. Thomas is not the fastest back but he is quick to see the hole develop and hits it.
A&O....you crack me up with anyone you dont believe in being Leaf or any other bust.....Did you believe Brady as another Leaf since he went in the 6th? You gotta think that maybe one day a Ingram or Mallett could be another Smith or Aikman....you got me laughin about everyone being Leaf.
I have to be honest -- I was never a fan of Ingram. He's great with giant holes and wide open running lanes -- so in that way he is a lot like Emmitt Smith (the most OVERATED RB in the history of the universe). I think the dude we picked will prove to be a better PRO RB. He looks pretty nifty between the tackles for big RB. His rather long torso is a slight concern though – along with his rather vertical running posture. Bit I’m sure our brilliant coaching staff and pizza delivery dude will take care of that!
I have to agree....Smith did get huge holes to run through while Sanders and Payton had to run 50 yards back and forth behind the line of scrimmage before the holes opened up. Not a Smith fan but gotta give him some props.
