I voted no at #15, because considering the fact he is widely regarded as going somewhere betweens round 2 and 3, I think #15 is a tad too high.

Late first round....I would have no problems, because that would mean we traded down, scooped up an extra pick...and got a QB.

But just to grab him a possible round too early?? No thanks.

Yes. I think he will be a pretty good one when it is all said and done.

We'll probably trade down..hope we get Mallet at #25 (which means he'll probably be drafted at #24), and pick up another 3rd rounder that we'll waste on a guy that won't make the team.

Am I bitter? angry smiley

When I say late, I mean the last pick of the round....the guy is projected mid 2nd - 3rd round pick, why in the world would we take him that high when we could take him lower and add picks!?

That is dumb. If you would have went back to March of 2000 and told a fan of any team that their team would pick Tom Brady in the 1st, they would have slapped you. Of course Mallett could be the greatest....but so could some Linebacker in the 7th.....doesnt mean we are just supposed to pick them in the 1st.

Good post phinsfan. I don't see us trading up to pick a qb. I don't see us trading down early. We might trade down as the draft approaches #15 but it would be silly to do that if the guy will fall to us. However, if he is available at 15 then we should take him.

Now I wonder what Aqua and others would say if we traded down and did not get him and then he turns into the next Marino. Just curious.

I love Ricky Stanzi...I have stated that over and over....but there is no need to get him at #15, when we can get him in the 3rd.

Same applies to the Mallett situation. Thats all I am saying.

Phinsfan2 your so cool, will you join my squad? ;p

Seriously though you make perfect sense.

Hey just for the record, you have a better chance at playing pick up stick's using your butt cheeks then you do trying to instill your views into Aqua.

You know what is funny, Mia1?!

You "report" me everytime I say something to you, yet, you jab at me all day long. You look like a kid when you act like that. You can dish it out, but you cant take it.

It will be a great day when the moderators get tired of your arse and send you packing.....unforutanately for everybody, you will be back the next day under a new handle.

I really like the way Mallett chucks the rock.

Hope he's not a head case like

Henna, who is obviously sexually confused and
I believe headed towards culinary school where he'll
become a pasty chef, move to Stuttgart Germany
and have a caesarian to remove the wiffle ball
he keeps choking on.
