Draft BS smokescreens

I am not sure why Irsay is pimping Tannehill...but it is BS. There has to be an angle somewhere.

There is no way that Irsay believes that Tannehill is the 3rd best player in the draft.

Maybe he wants an AFC team to overpay? Maybe he is doing an agent a favour?

I also am not convinced that WE (Dolphins Front Office) are as interested in Tannehill as purported. With Moore & Garrard the clear starters for the 2012 season...Pass rusher is a bigger need.

We lost games last year because our Defense couldn't defend 3rd and long.

A starting QB would be nice...but we may be using that as a smokescreen.

Realist. All I can say is that was a realistic analysis.

I agree with OP assessment. Very, very strange.

The more I hear the chattering classes push Tannehill from one corner of their mouth as a "must have", while announcing him a terrible risk in the same breath... the less I like it.

This talk about trading for Tannehill to #3 is absurd. Whoever is pushing such an idiotic idea must be outed as an undercover Jets fan.

I agree. None of these guys have played a down since January or maybe February, so I am only interested in how a player was perceived at that time-any changes between then and now are artificial. Tannehill didn't become third best player in the country without playing a down, so this talk of him being the second coming is pure bushwa.
