He hasn't signed the tender yet.

If it's true that Brees had no knowledge of this and is really outraged, it's possible he could hold out and demand a trade. It's not likely, not at all, but it's theoretically possible.

Its true he could not sign, hold out etc, but not true that we or any other team could get him this year unless they rescind the tag and cut him.

I don't see how they would trade him. Who knows there's a lot to play out in that mess.

Perhaps one chance if the FINS offerred a pick and the Saints didn't think he'd play (hold out forever), maybe they would cave, but can't really see it.

I'm up in the panhandle here, and believe me I hear all the Saints news. Brees is NOT happy. I really don't think he'll be there after this year. Maybe even sooner. There are probably going to be staggered player suspensions as well. Also the timing was suspect in the way they tagged Brees. Colston was chasing the money, Brees got left on the sidelines. Not a happy camper right now....
