Goodell let Kaczur get away without a suspension. That tells me all I need to know about how he feels towards the Pats.

Who cares about primetime. All i care is that they win the game. They know where they can stick their prime time.

I'd really like to get a 4:15 start and have the Pats win.

That way Jets would know they didn't have anything to gain by beating us.

I'm glad this game won't be at prime time. This way it won't be as cold.

In my opinion, the Dolphins constantly get snubbed by the league. Very little exposure. Terrible officiating. Absolute favoritism towards another team within the division.

And the only time we actually do get recognition, it has a hint of pity attached to it. Its always, "Oh look at the Wildcat. How cute of the Dolphins to use a pop warner formation. Run along now and let the big boys play."

The fact of the matter is that this team is simply not respected by the league office. Everyone loves the Cinderalla story, and assuming the Dolphins beat the Jets to make the playoffs, I can't think of anything more appropriate. Its the type of thing you would think the league would cling to like grim death, the type of story that could grab the attention of casual fans. A team of nobodies who play with discipline and heart.

Instead they prefer to highlight two teams that we just so happened to have beaten.

Funny, I've just been reading how biased the League office is against the Patriots on the PatsFans forum. It seems most every team believes that the League is biased against them.

Personally, I think the decisions about when to air what games are right on. If the Jets/Dolphins games was played on Sunday night, then the results of the critical Ravens game would already be known likely providing less motivation for the Jets. By scheduling them opposite each other (and in the more watched 4:00 p.m. slot), this concern is minimal and the viewers get good games in the better time slot.

The Denver/San Diego game was a natural for the prime-time game with no other considerations to cloud it along with it being a very unlikely come-back to pump it up.

i don't want to wait for the later game anyway. it's bad enough we have to wait until 4:20.

If the Jets would have won last week, you can GUARANTEE this game would have been the primetime game. But, as it stands, there is the possibility that the Jets can WIN and be out of the playoffs. THAT makes for a real interesting post-game interview, doesn't it??

I hate to say it, but the Broncos/Chargers is a more compelling national game, because it is GUARANTEED to have playoff implications. There are lots of stroylines.

1. Winner takes all
2. The Hockulee bothced call that cost the Chargers the win against Denver earlier this season.
3. The Chargers improbably turnaround to possibly make the playoffs.

I agree that the Dolphins game is STILL compelling, for a ton of reasons... but like I said, the NFL doesn't want the Jets to win, be out of the playoffs and the post-game interview going to Brett Favre and back to questions about if he is going to retire now. They want the game to drive hype for the playoffs.

Perhaps I am biased, but this will make the 4th week in a row for me that the Dolphins game is not being broadcast on cable, and I live in FL.

I also find it laughable that any Pats fan would complain about anything.

It's OK to be biased here. There are only 3 football teams in Florida. We shouldn't go 4 weeks without seeing the Dolphin game!!

Mike Beradino, of the South Florida SunSentinel, reports the Miami Dolphins only 2-4 against teams with a winning record but are 8-1 against team with records under .500.
