I have been a dolphin fan my whole life. I remember when I hated seeing people root for any team but the dolphins.(those transplanted fans) Now I have lived here in North Georgia for four years now and love It ,but I still love my team. they can be 1-15 or 15-1 but I will never stop rooting for The Miami Dolphins.

I could understand if your team moved or something like that, but, I didnt think Buffalo moved, they were just going to play a few games in Toronto (including pre-season).

If you want to get technical with it, our beloved Dolphins arent even in Miami.

Well, the last time I checked Miami Gardens and Miami are two different cities.

We follow the Miami Dolphins, not the Miami Gardens Dolphins.

Here is the best piece of advice you'll get on this site. If the team moves, so what? If the team keeps the current name...the Bills then it is the same team.

The city the team resides in does not make the team what it is...the team does as do the players and most importantly, the culture and the history does.

If the team moves and they become the Toronto Bills then it's still the Bills. The Raiders were still the Raiders even when they moved as were the Colts, the Cardinals, the Cowboys and all the other teams that have moved...and kept the name.

If you are a fan of the team then the ownership does not matter, neither does the city in which they reside or play. All that does matter is that you are a fan of that team.

If Miami ever moves...you can bet "I" will continue to be a fan no matter where they move to.

As for the advice...stay a Bills fan.

Everybodys got an opinion, but I guarantee nobody in Houston is routing for the Tenn Titans. And no body in Cleveland is routing for the Ravens. And no one in Baltimore is routing for the Colts.

I think A&O and Ghotirule are the same person and he is talking between himself trying to make everyone else think its two different people, while the whole time its one person with two screen names.

I dont think its a coincedence that Ghotirule and A&O are probably the two most hated posters on this board.

Dont get me wrong though, I dont hate either of you or one....whatever. Anyways, I think both screen names add another dimension to this board.....keep it up!

Really? I wouldn't say that. There are other posters that are borderline phans, as well as a few that don't post anymore that are/were MUCH more "hated" than those 2. I always welcome insight from G and A&O. If they ARE the same person, then that guy has a split personality. I've seen them disagree on a number of occasions.

OK, following the Bills announcement that Ralph Wilson extended Dick Jauron's contract for 3 more years following his blown call that cost the Bills the game against the Jets, I have figured out how to proceed in a way that feels right. I am simply an anti-bills fan, meaning my favoirite team is whichever one is playing the Bills that week. That means twice a year the Dolphins will be my favorite team.

As long as Ralph Wilson remains the owner, go anyone but the Bills. When he croaks, if new ownership keeps the team in Buffalo I will fully return to the team as a fan, but if they leave the city as expected I will be very comfortable continuing being the Anti-Bills fan forever.

I have spoken.
