You just can't sit luck for 3-4 years. Luck brings the hype of Tebow (which puts butts in the seats) and the poise of P Manning coming out of college. Rodgers was a dark-horse, and he had notable flaws coming out of college (which he obviously worked on in those years he played behind Favre), but Luck is a completely different commodity. It wouldn't make sense for a team to draft him and bench him for 3-4 years. I think Indy has to take a hard look at Peyton's health. Does he really have 3-4 years left in him?

Blowing a 17 point lead and making comments like that - proof right there that the Colts are tanking it.
At least Ross is keeping his mouth shut about Luck.
I always love these conspiracy theories, how exactly did the Colts "tank" it? Did the coach pull starters and put in 2nd/3rd stringers?........were the players told to lay down or did they take it upon themselves to?.....were the refs in on this conspiracy, or for that matter the NFL? I'm curious for specifics on how they "tanked" it.

They tanked it when they named Painter the starting QB.

RE: I can't see the Colts tying up 90 mil on Manning and then having to Tie up another 50 mil to Luck for the priveledge of having him sit on the bench.
I'm not saying that they won't do it...but it does not make sense for them to do it. 140 mil on two players over four years is a quite sizable portion of the salary cap for two players at the same position.

I don't know about that, the team seems to be playing better with Painter then Collins
