Dude looked like the crypt keeper.

Well, atleast the Raiders were winning when he passed away. The Raiders are a good team.

I thought he'd made a deal with the devil and would never die.

Seriously, condolences to his family.

Hopefully they were celebrating his life, not dancing on his grave. You never know with Raiders fans.

I also was surprised that he was "only" 82. That puts him at pretty much the same age as Don Shula.

RIP Al, we "loved to hate" your team.

I guess that means a win for the Raiders in week 13.

Thanks Al, and rest in peace. You just helped us out for the 2012 draft.

Just die baby. Whatever. We’re all worm food. Davis was actually dead about 15 years ago. It just took a long time to declare, and some really good preservatives and varnish.

He was big cheater and hence his kindred man love for Billy Goat. Personally, I was sick of his shtick a long time ago.

The franchise will do a lot better without him IMO.

LOL Nasty! Don't hold back bro............grinning smiley

I liked the raiders because whenever I felt bad about the Dolphins I could look at the raiders and thank God we never picked a feild Goal kicker in the 1st round of the draft!

LOL! That my point. No matter how stupid we were , we could always count on the Raiders to 1 up us.Even the Lions are on a winning streak. I'm gonna miss Ole Al as we we may actually sink to the Bottom of the NFL.sad smiley

May he RIP. He was an icon for professional football. Yes, his team may be better off with him as a dearly departed leader, (he should be a huge source of inspiration for the raiders now) but guys, take a step back and realize the history with this man.

He saw it all as far as the AFL and post merger NFL.

He did things his way, and he had some major success.

I always enjoyed seeing him with the other team owners - he was always in some type of raiders swag and the other NFL team owner (or owners) with him always in a suit.

I am not taking Pryor when nobody else wanted to touch that cheater was the reason his Raider teams sucked lately look for a late season collaspe as usual. Davis the game passed you by 20 years ago. Now the Raiders will stop drafting the fastest least talented players available unless you have a direct line from whatever destination you end up in which is highly unlikely.

Al never sucked the NWO version of the NFL's teet.

It was classic when he fired Lane Kiffen. He gave the speech firing him and had the speech on a projector in the back. Old school all the way. RIP Al
