The kid has outstanding athletic ability.

Yes i know he is not a WR and who cares about that but just the effort was impressive.

IMO this kid will be able to direct or QB an NFL team just like Payton Manning can.

Hopefully we can get the first pick overall therefore the first pick in every round and build around the kid.

1. Hire gruden or cowher i dont care which....Fire the general manager.....insert here who you want.

2. Draft andrew luck...

3. get the first pick and rounds 2 through 7

4. Pick OL , WR, TE for offense

5. Pick Safety, LB for Defense.

Build the team around one of the best players coming out of college in a long time.

My dearly departed mother can catch better than Brandon Marshall. Any tyranisourous (sp?) rex with 2 inch arms and 2 digits on each hand can catch better than Brandon Marshall. I am even convinced that Ireland, Sprano and Parcells can catch better than Brandon Marshall.

Yes, and that's the clincher here. The last 2 times we were in the running for the top pick the drafts were either terrible (2004..when the #1 pick was Alex Smith and we picked Ronnie Brown) or just average (2008..when we picked Long..but probably SHOULD HAVE picked Matt Ryan). Neither draft had a "sure thing" like Luck.

I'd say:

QB, OT, OG, FS, LB, TE, RB

Of course, once you get past the 5th round the chances of finding someone suitable are minimal. Even after the 3rd round we'll probably get a backup. So, assuming we pick a QB in the 1st round, I'd look for a RT in the 2nd, a FS in the 3rd, then everyone else. We might get lucky with an OG in later rounds, but the rest of the picks will likely be for depth. This means we'll still have holes on defense when we're done.

Id say... (in no particular order):

QB, RB, WR, TE, OT, OG, MLB, OLB, CB, Safety, Kicker,.....

If karim abdul jabbar did it anybody can then...

He ran well behind the late dolphin olines....And at times he used to be shoe stringed tackled.........they could breath on him and he fell down......

Did you all noticed daniel thomas has almost no room to run yet he makes things happen and gets positive yardage..

He is also a sure hands receiver out of the backfield..

I think he could be very good if he could stay healthy and have a good OL to block for him

BTW i dont buy that last injury he had.

If the Dolphins wind up with the worst record and secure the #1 pick and Luck is in the draft, we MUST PICK HIM. If we don't I'm going to retreat in favor of an NFL team with real promise....
