Sparano AND IRELAND both need to be fired RIGHT NOW so that we can have someone else in charge of scouting college players and drafting. Because let's face it, I don't want to see another big, injury prone lineman drafted in the first or second round this year.

Tony Sparano's press conference is just painful. "Yeah, well you know we had a problem when Vernon Carey got hurt and John Jerry went in..."

Then he talks about John Jerry playing well. Come on.

I know that after a loss the reaction is always "fire the coach," but I'm not just calling for Sparano to be fired because they lost today.

I'm calling for Sparano to be fired because the team blows and he's a part of the problem with terrible timeout management, bad play calls, gutless decisions not to go for it on 4th down when the team has nothing to lose, sloppy play from all units, etc.

And these are the SAME problems he's had as a coach since he's been here. He was a lousy enough coach that Ross wanted to replace him last year. The deal fell through with Harbaugh, so why did we extend him? What did that accomplish?

Just put this moron out of his misery.

I gave Sparano the benefit of the doubt last year since we had a horrid OC and Henne wasn't quite there yet.

This year Henne has been great and does he get a shot to wind the clock down and get first downs? nope we play it ULTRA conservative and fist pump another fkn FG, so we give the ball to Cleveland with 3 and change left..............THAT WAS THE MOST DISGUSTING DISPLAY OF GAME MANAGEMENT I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!!!

I have never been so mad at the coach after a loss the way I feel now!

SPARANO SHOULD BE FIRED TOMORROW AND THEY CAN REPLACE HIM WITH DAVE WANNSTEAD FOR ALL I CARE!!

.....leaves to go buy new t.v at best buy.....

And if Sparano is fired, will the next coach call his own plays?

If so, I say yes.

If not, I say no. The problem is the playcalling, both offense and defense, not the coaching.

Unless the coach calls the plays, his job (training) is over at the end of pre-season.

The old days coaches callled the plays and if this were the 80's, I'd say fire Sparano but we could have been 3-0 if not for the playcalling PARTICULARLY DEFENSIVE PLAYCALLING, yeah this means your suck-buddy Nolan, PhinFans2!!!!!!

i would say that fergie would make a better coach, atleast when she is jumping around her palm plams can distract the other team and give us the homefield advantage winking smiley

Fergie, yea one of the many owners, she can sing in the plays, Ross would like that, the Williams sisters can coach the O line, and Mark Anthony can do Special Teams.... Thats what this team has turned into, the owner cares more about Celebrities then a Good Coach...

I'd relieve Sparano of his duties before the next game. If Sparano "didn't have bad luck he'd have not luck at all."

Get Gruden or Bellick in there. They both have coached SB winners. That's lightyears better than Tony. We might win a few games this year under one of them.

And let me throw this out there:

Last season when the Dolphins were losing games because of atrocious special teams play, Tony Sparano made the special teams coach the scapegoat and FIRED him mid season and made his buddy from New Haven the new special teams coach.

If Tony gets fired, HE GETS PAID the remaining two plus years on his contract. Let's not feel sorry for this guy or feel like he 'needs a fair shake.' He got a fair shake. HE STINKS.

Give someone else a shot.

It hurts me to say this, because I had big hopes for the Trinity a few years ago. But today's game was the last straw...this team needs to be dimantled. This team needs new leadership, and a new approach to personnel on so many levels..it just seems hopeless....

Remove and Replace:
Scouting
Coaching
Players
Management
Marketing
Finance
Hell even replace the caterers, security and Valet parkers...we need a brand new start.

Cheerleaders can stay though smiling smiley
