I think Salguero is a putz (wasn't he the guy high-fiving another repoter after a Dolphins loss back in the Wanny days?) and he's an apologist for Tony Sparano, but you really can't argue with what he wrote there.

The article hit right on the button. On tight end we don even go after to all pro from Um. We let go ronnine and Rick that does not make any sense at all.

And you can probably add to his argument Phillip Merling. Merling is inactive for today's game, while newly signed Igor Olshansky and Ryan Baker are both active. Merging is essentially a first round pick for us, the first pick of the second round when the Patriots had their pick taken away. For him to be healthy and to not even be active for a game? Sad.

Yes, he's the guy who high fived someone else in a bar when we lost.
