Belecheat will do whatever he can to gain an advantage over his opponent even take a player he does not even want. My guess is that he is paranoid about our new offense, and wants to pick Edds is brain on any insight he might gain into our game plan. I hate that bastard, and I hope Edds does not help him however given the way he was let go. I wouldn't count on it. Anyway Belecheat looks for any thing extra he can get no matter how small it may be. I can't stand him Brady or that damn team. My hope is that the dolphins show up play with class purpose, and mistake free. If we do that we have a real good chance to win the game. If we don't don't then it could be a prelude to a long season. I don't think we will play bad, and I think we can win, but it won't be easy and it wont ever be certain until the final gun.
Hopefully.....Bellicheat signing our castoffs wouldn't shed much additional light on our offense, seeing as Daboll is a disciple of New england's system anyhow.
And Hopefully, any tricks or super secret stuff isn't unveiled until this week.
Besides...Edds was focused on learning the D and prob can't offer a whole lot on the offense. NE is weak at LBer outside of Mayo so that's prob what its about.
If they were that worried about the offense they would have signed Berger or OConnell (who the Jets signed).
I watched Edds in the last pre season game against the cowboys 2nd and 3rd stringers, and they were catching passes against him in the middle of the field. He looked a step slow too me, and not fully recovered from his ACL blowout from last year. So maybe he is not ready to play in the scheme that he was drafted for in our defense. I expected more from him in the Dallas game. I thought he could be on the bubble come cut down day. If your a starter then a 3rd stringer should not catch more than one pass in a game against you. Edds was repeatedly beaten, and that ultimately led to his dismissal I believe. I don't want him coming back to haunt us however either when fully healthy.

Firstly, he tore his ACL, not broke his leg. Secondly, regardless of the team you don't wish someone to fall upon an injury. Doing that kind of thing brings bad karma right back on to you and your team. Pretty bad form poster.
