Date: September 03, 2011 01:49PM Murtha going on IR and being lost for the season changed the eqution for now. But with the cutting of Willis, they are extremely thin at the tacle position. Jerry may only be around until they find a T on waivers they like. Re: John Jerry makes the cut at this point

Obviously with only 2 Qb's we have some signing's in mind, I assume, and Jerry along with a few LB's who made it seem on the cusp. We kept ten LB's at this point. Date: September 04, 2011 05:22PM Omar tweeted that Jerry was practicing at RT today. He played plenty of T in college. They have G covered with Feinga, Berger, and Garner all capable of playing there. This could be a last ditch effort to see if Jerry can step up and handle being a RT. And it could be a short audition. They could always bring back Ray Willis next week when veteran contracts aren't guaranteed. Jerry did ok in the Dallas game, but he was really bad in the previous 3.
