I wouldn't get too excited about it. This team likes to go against the grain. Its almost like they poll to see whats a popular idea and they go against it on purpose.

I said before that we should offer a 3rd round. People thought I was crazy, that he should be a 6th at most or something like that.

He will go for a 3rd at the very least.

6'6", 230 lbs, runs a sub 4.4, can throw, can catch.

A 3rd round pick would be CHEAP!

We did get Kendall Langford in the 3rd round....but...

Here are some names for ya.

Derek Hagan, John Jerry, Patrick Turner, Lorenzo Booker.....all 3rd round picks.

I would trade them all for Pryor.

I don't know of a single team that would use a 3rd rounder on this guy.

We have to let the Rosenhause hype blow by and realize this player at this stage is not worth a high risk move...especially for a 3 year project.

I would consider using a 5th or 6th if we have one to use.

not suprised at all. the raiders can alway be relied upon for collossal reaches.
for the record, they have now traded away next years 2d, 3d, and 4th round picks (used the 3d on pryor).

I was shocked to learn that they made Richard Seymore one of the highest paid players in the league. I think I read that the crazy deal Larry Fitz just signed is about the same or a little less than the money the raiders gave seymour. I mean, Seymour is a good player, but he's not even one of the top DL in the game, let alone players.
as bad as we can feel about our FO at times, it could be much much worse...

Old Man Davis sure tries though doesn't he? Not surprised Miami didn't take him at 3. They didn't go after Mallet in 3 why would they go after Pryor? While I believe the Mallet mishap will bite us in the ass for Yrs to come.....I'm really glad we didn't waste a 3rd rounder, or a 4th or a 5th. 6th maybe.......

Thr Raiders just became more dysfunctional with Al Davis adding another me 1st player to his roster. Their are not that many footballs to go around. Does Pryor make them better no. Does he make them a bigger mess than before hell freaking yes.

Al Davis is desparate. He knows that his time here on Earth is short and he no longer thinks long term. His recognition of his mortality is killing the organization. Pun intended.
